AEW put up the full firm deletion, which add some stuff not on the broadcast.  Figured I would make a new thread for it and post it here.

Cham Pain gets a proper introduction and lots of little things added.

I liked it, it was fun and very cute.  More of a celebration of the Matt than anything else, but Stokey was hilarious and it is a good end to the Ego and Matt feud.  

Maxel hitting the swanton was cute.  He was practicing for a while to do it.  

To open up the discussion, do you think stuff like this is good or bad for wrestling?

I can see many smarter fans loving the concept, while so many casual fans thinking " WTF? "

The Bone Yard match was perhaps the best version of these sorts of out of arena matches and can certainly support someone like Brock welcoming Cody into his world - his farm and throwing bare knuckles in a barnyard.

OMG, a farm match between Brock and Cody would be amazing. And would allow Brock to showcase a much different side of himself.

I love these so long as they are not done often. Like one a year is not gonna be a problem. Put them on every PPV and I would start to cringe. But done right can really showcase people. In this one, Big Bill looked like a monster.

I am a huge fan of Reby and the kids though, so of course I am going to like wrestling at their house with them involved.

I gotta ask, what was the purpose of The Firm? They were directionless most of the time. Only helping MJF, Than, Max discards them like a rented tuxedo. HAHA! Yeah, each member calmed to have individual & faction goals but that was bullshit that sure fooled me. :lol:

The idea is that they were brought into feud with Punk and his cronies but then brawl out happened. They tried to salvage it, but that promo from Stokely was like Retribution all over again and so they just became another mid-card act taking up TV time.

I wonder how much of it had to do with MJF? If we accept what Dax was saying at face value then Max didn't care about anyone other than himself in the Pinnacle and would only run with ideas that featured him. It would make all the sense in the world if MJF saw that promo and said 'yeah, no' and did the fake out with Regal.
