That Julia Hart match was scary

I suspected Callis was going to side with BCC a month or two back when he started doing shady shit. The main one being hanging around for ages trying to get Moxley to shake his hand instead of running away. There was another segment prior to that involving Hangman Page (I think) that also made me suspicious.

However, they stopped teasing it long enough for me to forget about the possibility of Callis turning, and then he did. Well played AEW.

It does make sense because Callis has always been a CARNY PIECE OF SHIT HEEL and Kenny hasn't even been remotely heel for a while. On the other hand Callis has always been by Kenny's side so it is still shocking.

What I like about the Black Invitational is the rules will change each match based on the stips the oppenents pick. Should keep it fresh week to week.

Cage was fun. The broken glass was pretty wild.

Also was exciting to see Julia get showcased on Dynamite for once.

Really solid episode, I loved OC vs Garcia and the main event. I saw the Don turn coming, I said to myself after he got the screwdriver, “he’s going to hit Kenny”, and then he did it.

Next week looks stacked already, should be good.

So it appears this episode outdrew the Trump town hall for the key demo <.<

They easily have as many misses as hits, or they'll deliver a really great match sandwiched by shit. But this show was good all the way through.

I also really like the shift in tone from the BCC since Danielson really established his leadership.

Mox, I find can be incredibly uninspiring at times, lacking motivation. There was a BCC tag match a while ago and he looked bored to death by the whole thing and hence the botchamania running wild. But he looks to be really in his element at the moment.

And Omega, often lacks a seriousness. He's guilty of being a goofball, but looks all in on making this angle great.

I prey there's no exploding death matches.

Also, something I think is neat is Cassidy selling that hand injury weeks later. And this slight durability angle that's building. He works every week, defends it in a decent back & forth every week and in a kayfabe sense should be seeing some signs of wear and tear, and he is.

The match with Garcia was very good - Cassidy has been incredibly consistent these past few months. Garcia, I've felt has been stifled by that leech Jericho. He's a lot better than they are sometimes allowing him to be. If anyone is deserving of being repackaged, it's him.

I do find it odd, they've done little with Bullet Club. This is an obvious brand/group/concept you strap a rocket to and send them to the moon, but it feels almost like an afterthought and potentially given the overall theme and history of BC, maybe they could have Bullet Club show up on ROH shows as well and really put over the " we go where we want to go " mentally, and in building opposition.

Or, Bullet Club serves as back up for Adam Cole in fighting JAS. But, it's like making a deal with the devil and after the Jericho angle is over, Jay White comes to collect. And when Cole pulls the " dude, come on. 4 life " line, he's met with a swift ass kicking.

Wonder if Collusion gets a new title or Orange has to give Punk the belt.

Punk pulls a Hunter. Trashes the mid-card belt and debuts a Big Gold one.

I’m betting Miro’s first match back is on the first Collision show and he takes the title from OC. While they are going for a soft brand split, there will almost certainly be crossover and I expect OC is the kind of guy that gets along with everyone and could work either show.

I bet Miro and Rosa both discussed “what’s in it for me?” with Tony on Wednesday and Miro requested a title shot. Rosa probably requested Britt & Friends are banned from Collision.

Miro goes on a tear like he did as TNT champ, Rosa becomes top star in a depleted female locker room and eventually Britt starts calling her out as a fake. Could be fun.

Miro is tough as well. I can see the logic in wanting to go back to what works, but ideally you'd want to see him make some progress. Unfortunately I don't think anyone is in a position to make that happen.

I dug the hell out of that main event, Omega and Mox always work well together in singles competition, and that steel cage match was no different. As others have already said that jackal Don Callis turning on Kenny, while it isn't shocking, it definitely is intriguing.

As far as I'm concerned, both Anna and Julia delivered in their No Holds Barred match-up. I believe it was Excalibur that mentioned on commentary, that both women have been more vicious (maybe not the word he used), since joining their respective groups, however, I feel Anna always had it in her (re: Anna Jay/Tay Conti vs. Penelope Ford/The Bunny, in the tag team street fight, from the Rampage New Year's Smash 2021 episode).

I def think the Punk vs Joe feud will have a title attached.

Anna and Julia was great. Finally getting to see Julia get a chance to show off. She has been working her ass off of late amd is really coming together in the ring. The Heartless she really got down, and it looks vicious.
