Matt Tkachuk must be one of the best acquisitions ever right? He has the fourth most points in a first season with a team and then he goes absolutely next level clutch in the conference final.
The way the East has played out makes the Rangers' early exit much more frustrating - the Devils got stomped by Carolina, who then got swept by Florida.

We’re going to find out if the Panthers are the 2012 Kings or the 2003 Ducks. Lower seed team that found it and ran everyone over or team that rode a hot goalie to the finals and lost it.

Sounds like the Rangers have settled on Laviolette as the new coach which is very whelming. There aren't really any exciting options available, so they might as well have just stuck with Gallant.
