"Tomorrow could be among the most important days in AEW history, particularly if rumors and speculation is to believed.

What we do know is that at the WBD Upfronts, they are expected to announce the new television show, AEW Collision, believed to be airing 8-10 p.m. on Saturday nights on TNT. The belief is the show debuts on June 17 at the United Center in Chicago, which would also be the return of CM Punk.

At least some, if not all of that, would be announced tomorrow at the upfronts, evidently on TNT based on the hint last week by Tony Khan on Dynamite when he mentioned TNT and not TBS. It will also be announced later that night on Dynamite."

So check out TNT a few minutes before Dynamite goes live, I guess.

Very interesting to see what people think of the time slot. I remember a lot of complaining whenever WWE moved to compete with AEW. Now AEW are airing on free TV opposite PLEs. Does this move deserve similar scorn?

I love that the logo is a tribute to Monday Nitro. And I love that HOB are front and centre. And I love that champions won’t be affected by the soft brand split, AS IT ALWAYS SHOULD BE.

Wasn’t excited until now. If we are getting more announcements through the day in regards to streaming, Punk’s return, etc, this is gonna be a good day for wrestling.

It's probably a fair point, I don't see why you couldn't have it on a Thursday beyond the convenience of giving the talent and crew three days to set themselves up.

I’m half joking but I haven’t heard about a peep about it. When NXT moved to Wednesday it was all anyone was banging on about.

I thought you were actually referring to All Out 2022 when Tony got upset that the WWE moved Clash at the Castle to that weekend, like AEW had a mortgage on the weekend, but that works too.

To be fair, WWE has a history of messing with their competition. Fans are always going to be more critical of a company if they're punching down so to speak.

I think it was less complaining about WWE fucking with AEW and more people calling WWE hypocrites for not taking AEW as a serious threat then moving one of their shows to the same night like two months later. I may be wrong though, that’s just how I remember it.

I wonder if Punk’s return gets announced tonight or if they just don’t comment on it like last time even though everyone knew he was going to show up.

I’m intrigued by it either way. Hard split is interesting. I wonder if AEW wanted that or WB.

Soft split, not a hard split. Still all AEW talent. Network wants a core to be exclusive to one show or the other, but people will be able to move. Marketing always believes that shows need exclusive content.

Rumour has it Punk thought Ace Steel was coming back with him and legal said he isn’t allowed in any buildings AEW is at. Now Punk is mad. He’s currently on insta taking shots at the Elite again.

This is all so bonkers. I love it.

WBD edited Punk out of the release last minute. WBD confirmed in a statement Punk is not associated with the show at this time.

Pretty ballsy of wrestling reporters to accuse WBD of willfully deceiving shareholders.

Hayter was rumored to be injured over the weekend but no reports on what exactly is up have come yet.

So the rumors are more interesting than this.  It is that Ace was BROUGHT back, but the problem was he could not attend events in person and would have to work essentially remote.  

And who would have thought the person who made drama his entire career is making more drama now.  Watch the Elite get suspended again for this tantrum for forcing Ace to throw chairs at them backstage.

Punk dated Maria after Alvarez worked a storyline romance with her. When talking about their relationship, Alvarez decided to out Punk as a serial cheater and insinuate he is a sexual predator (he specifically used the word 'girls' to describe who Punk goes after, not women). Sounds like Alvarez was jealous of their relationship.

Punk is still mad about it and frankly, I would be too. So what if the dude is a giant whore. That’s nobody else’s business.

Those rumors predated Maria though, and started after the string of SCS managers that Punk banged. He ran through Draffeny, Brooks, Bayless and James really fast.  Then he started that pattern in WWE, people started to call him out on it. 


Pretty much the rule to be Punk's manager was you had to fuck him <.< Every single one did.
