Thoughts!
-Can't go wrong with BCC kicking off the show. They made their mark at DON and love em or hate em, they're the tippy top of AEW right now.
-Good match, no complaints. Yuta is shaping up to have a strong summer. Wondering if he gets his rematch against Shibata at Forbidden Door.
-FTR vs Bullet Club Gold was painfully obvious after how DON transpired. But am I complaining? Fuck no. Give it to me.
-Kenny Omega left the country and is not in Canada. WHERE COULD HE BE? I WONDER.
-CM PUNK! CM PUNK! CM PUNK!
-I don't think the reaction was as mixed as people are saying. Yeah some fans booed but a lot of that noise was fans chanting his name, not booing. But whatever, I'll take added drama to his return. I love it. Let's fucking go.
-I just realized that means he won't be in Edmonton next month but he'll be in Calgary. FUCK.
-Put the fucking International title on Swerve please. Then give him a good opponent at Forbidden Door for a title defence. If OC wins on Wednesday I'm going to be annoyed.
-Don Callis = heat. Loved that promo. I even saw some live footage from fans in attendance and you can't hear a word Don is saying it's so loud. Love it. Carny piece of shit.
-I skipped OC/Allin vs DA GATES but I'm glad Swerve showed up and got in OC's head a little. HE BETTER WIN.
-Love to see Stat back. Love her. Match was meh. 450 Splash was sick.
-Say what you will about the main event but how cool is it that Chris Jericho, Adam Cole, Britt Baker & Saraya were all in a ring together? That's pretty fucking cool I gotta say.
-I hope this ends the feud though. Cole needs to move on to better things.
-Given Hayter is out, I wonder how the feud with the Outcasts goes from here. Baker & Shida need a third, and I can't see them just bringing Riho back. Curious who pops up now.
Overall good show. I hope once Dominion is over we see some more NJPW talent pop up. Rampage looks like a good start but we need some damn superstars inserting themselves in all this drama like yesterday. FD is like 3 weeks away.
