I really really hope they are going a different route with MJF this time. We've seen him do this shtick before only to do what he always does and turn on the person when they let their guard down. I hope we are getting a reverse of that.

Adam Cole has shown more than once that he can get under MJF's skin to get what he wants. Nobody has ever talked enough smack to MJF to get him to break and award the other person what they want. Maybe we're seeing MJF be the one to let his guard down because he sees in Cole a lot of similarities, and this time Cole/MJF's target will be the one that turns.

To be fair, this MJF is a lot more interesting and fun than his generic heel shtick so I really can't complain. But I also can't deny the sudden change in his personality is jarring to say the least.

I'm enjoying this MJF and I would be happy for the odd couple pairing with Adam Cole to go all the way to a tag title run... hell, a long term team would be entertaining.

But it feels like this sort of angle, is more suited for those ' not quite there yet ' guys. Guys who have had a nice mid card title run, but aren't winning the word title any time soon - a nice side quest to show some range and expand on the character.

Instead these guys are the opposite - they're main event guys and the arch should be Adam Cole gunning hard for MJF's title.

Speaking of which, MJF needs to drop that title, it's essentially a belt holding up his trucks at the moment and not a lot more.

My man Orange Cassidy delivers again, he could be the most consistent guy on that roster.

But my favourite part of that angle/match was Darby's lack of confidence in telling Lee to man up - looking at the floor, too scared to make eye contact with Keith and put some damn bass in your voice if you're going to kick a man that size in the ass.

He impressed me. I'd not seen much of him, but guy can work. 

Yuta is a pure worker. Do not see people like him often, and they rare get over in the US. He had a meteoric indy rise training at the Chikara school I believe, then debuting in 2016, and making AEW in 2021. He need promo skills, but in the ring he is years ahead of where he should be.

Joining BCC was perfect for him. I’m glad Danielson and Moxley saw that in him and knew he would make a good addition. He would be jobbing on Rampage right now if they didn’t bring him into the fold.
