He’s on Smackdown so he wants to wrestle the champion of the brand he represents. /GoodGuyShinsuke As a good guy though he should want to also put a stop to the biggest bad. I mean I get why the WWE did it so that's what really matters but I don't completely understand Shinsuke's motivations. I would of been intrigued by Brock/Nakamura though. NJPW isn't canon in WWE, but I'll say this anyway: Nakamura beat AJ in NJPW in 2015, and lost to Lesnar (quite quickly) in NJPW. Although the Lesnar match was in 2006. So yeah. There's his motivation.
