Not gonna lie i'm gonna be hella into this one tonight. Been all over the Jets feed.

It's criminal Bryce Huff is going to need 1-2 injuries ahead of him in the depth chart to get serious burn. He is arguably the nastiest pass rusher from a get off perspective on this team, his run defense is probably why he isn't a 3 down guy for the Jets but man he's going to be a steal for whomever signs him after this year.

Sucks for Schwartz he has such good top line speed as an ex track athlete but he can't do much else. Needs a good camp for CLE.

Gotta keep Brownlee, he made some nice moves that drive.

If he serves 3 years he'll only be 28 when he gets out - it's possible that he could reboot his NFL career if that's the case which is wild to think about. I have a feeling UT won't be particularly impressed.

With as little as these guys practice now and as little as they do in practice it pretty much makes Preseason more of an unwatchable waste of time than ever in any point in NFL history.

Not really. With as much as even a lot of casual now pay attention to college and the draft a lot of people , including me still enjoy it. This season more than ever as we seem to have a really strong rookie class and obvious uncertainty at the QB position.

Not to say it’s comparable to regular season football but I definitely haven’t seen a shift in quality of the games.

The games are obviously whatever but it is fun to get swept up in HYPE SZN and follow the depth battles on your team and which rookies are making highlights. 

I'm genuinely excited about the buzz Jalin Hyatt has been receiving, obviously it's only practice so we'll wait and see what happens, but the Giants offence is desperate for a deep threat to open things up for everyone else.

Elsewhere around the league it's interesting to hear that Kyle Trask might be leading the race to start for the Bucs because Baker has been throwing interceptions like Jameis Winston, Jahmyr Gibbs is getting a ton of hype for his playmaking when split out wide, while Minnesota's Ivan Pace looks like he'll be the Malcolm Rodriguez of 2023.

Stefon Diggs just went down hard and limped off the field.

Apparently Diggs is ok. Stayed on the sidelines the rest of the day though. Wonder if he plays against Indy or they let him chill. Ugh. My heart.

EDIT: apparently Allen and Diggs were already not playing.

49ers kick returner Ray Ray McCloud is out probably for eight weeks with a broken wrist he was pretty solid for us as a kick returner last season.  The bright side may give other WR maybe Danny Gray an opportunity as a kick returner until Ray Ray returns 

Rough first action for CJ Stroud tonight, 2/4 for 13 yards and 1 INT - but he was playing behind the backup o-line and consequently facing a lot of pressure from the Pats pass rush. On the interception he just stared down his receiver too long and threw it a couple of seconds too late.

Love played pretty well tonight. Had one bad miss but what I’ve been reading was brought to fruition. He’s making the right reads and has control of the offense - just needs more consistency.

Overall I’m loving this team. These young guys that have been on the hype train the last few weeks are balling out. Valentine looks like a steal , Wicks too , Heath might make the roster. Honestly even though he’s made a few terrible throws - even Clifford looks like a gamer and eventual ideal backup.

I think it's really bizarre how down the general consensus is on the Packers considering a lot of what Love has shown (in the admittedly super small sample size) has been very decent. Just because he's not a rookie there's no hype when if anything he should be in an even better position having had years in the system and a chance to learn from Rodgers. Vegas having them fourth in the division is laughable to me.

Yeah I don’t get it, nor do I get some rooting against him like he was the villain in this whole scenario. I hated the pick at the time but am obviously rooting for him now and he’s handled it with utter class. You have clowns like Schein coming out and flatly saying “Jordan Love can’t play football” which is just stupid. He’s far from perfect but he’s progressing immensely.

And yeah I don’t get the division odds or outlooks. Rodgers was mediocre for the majority of last year and we won 8 games. It’s completely plausible that Love is mediocre and we hit that again - or if this defense ever reaches it potential maybe even a game or two better. To act like Rodgers carried this team to 8 wins last year is a facade from people who clearly don’t watch football or the Packers.

I think the team around the QB this year is much better than last just by simply being a year older and more experienced and by adding some potential game breakers at some fun positions. The Packers will be fine - we aren’t the Super Bowl contenders we have been going into the season for the past decade but to think we can’t have a season like Philly did two years ago in a bad division is just being willfully ignorant.
