The best thing out of all of this for the Jets(and Giants) is this shit Jetlife turf is getting absolutely destroyed. David Bakitari is roasting this turf and tons of Jet players want grass. My respect went up the roof for the Packers OT, he went absolutely in last night with analytics and everything. He is saying everything I have said for years, this turf is cursed and absolute garbage, ESPECIALLY AFTER A FUCKING RAINSTORM. GET THE FUCK ACT TOGETHER AND PUT GRASS. THE PLAYERS ARE BEGGING FOR THIS BECAUSE THEY KNOW THEY WILL BE NEXT. ITS A SIMPLE SOLUTION, REALLY. It's time to stop fucking around Mara and Woody, give the players what they want. Yes it cost more to maintence but you are running a multi billion dollar entity, man the fuck up and give the players the safety they deserve. Well they're eventually gonna have to install grass in the stadium. After all, this is gonna be one of the venues for the 2026 World Cup. Well FIFA is paying top dollar so they are getting what they want. If they want field regulation to be kept at a certain way, by god they are getting it. FOX or whomever is paying for the telecast want no issues either, they are paying premium and want their games played with no hitch. I get the players gripe, you are favoring soccer players over the regular players who play 8+ games a year.

Seriously what did Blindy ever do to deserve a team like the Jets? This is beyond cruel, how are you holding up? I watched one of the pregame shows where one of the analysts kind of jinxed them, he said there hadn't been this much week 1 hype for Jets fans since week 1 of the 1999 season(they were Super Bowl favorites entering that season) when Vinnie Testaverde suffered a season ending injury on opening day.

There really is no excuse for using turf. In the UK turf isn’t used anywhere in football. I’m not just talking about Premier League, but tiers below. That’s mainly because it cuts your knees up, but there’s no way billion dollar franchises can’t afford to maintain a grass field. MLS fans/players hate turf. It's all I ever read on Reddit when we play against Atlanta or someone else who uses it. Honestly it should be banned from all field sports, there's no excuse to be using it in the year 2023.

And yes it’s a star driven league. The stars matter most as they should.

Same reason I don't want exposed chair shots in wrestling: it's unnecessary and gets people hurt. Hell, I don't even have that much love for A-A-Ron to begin with. Loved the arm but not all the drama that came with it. Still wouldn't wish this on him though. I was hoping for 2004 Vikings: 6-0 start, 8-6 two months later and then a heartbreaking loss to Arizona and they miss the playoffs. This was just the football gods being absolute pricks.

I’ll always love Aaron and never wanted this to happen. I wanted to root against the Jets every week for the Packers sake but I was looking forward to seeing what he could do on the team.
His injury is bad for the Jets (obviously) , it’s bad for the Packers and it’s bad for the entire NFL and it’s fanbase.

Saw a dumb fan throw a water bottle at Zach Wilson as he was leaving the field to go to the locker room AFTER A WIN.
Good lord this Jet fanbase never ceases to amaze me. Ban that idiot for life. Zach deserves so much better from this fanbase, say whatever you want about his momma but she was on point with that callout of that shit. Never do you throw shit at an athlete like they are some circus animal.

I stopped watching all together after 1999 until a couple years ago when they pulled me back in. Stupid Josh Allen.  Could be worse. We could be Lions fans.
