Back to back dumbfoundery honestly. I get it more from DET's standpoint, it's 4th and longgggg and you can sneak a punt to not waste the 2 minute warning so you can still get a 3 and out in theory and still have a legit chance.

The jump is something that was basically made legal last year. But him starting way off the line of scrimmage is really something.

Best case scenario on 4th and 25 feels like you stop them, and get the ball at the 5 with 1:20 left. Ugh.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a worse performance than I have from Toney and Sky tonight. Especially fucking Toney. Awful.

My Montgomery gets 30 yards each half bet won so I ended up in the positive.

But the Mahomes gets 250 yds passing and a TD bet (which was even money) and Mahomes and Goff both get 25 completions bet (+420) wound up coming a few drops short.

Toney has to be one of the most frustrating players, you see the superstar talent as he showed in the super bowl as a special teamer but the injuries he has consistently put him always behind the 8 ball and he always has some immaturity issues. 

One of those WRs in the Sun God's notebook he keeps note of. 

Best I can tell is that Toney shouldn’t have been out there. That was awful. I’m surprised after that last drop he didn’t immediately feign a hamstring injury.

I get that he has some herky jerky explosion to his game, but no focus or consistency and lacks the maturity to ever find it.

Best can be said is Mahomes looked good out there, desperately need Kelce back, since the others seem to not know how to catch the ball.

Hopefully they can pick their receivers soon. They’ve got a lot of young ones and gave them all some time. The two that they have the highest hopes for looked the worst.

Not sure if DeAndre Hopkins has anything left in the tank but this would have been the game he would have been depended upon if he chose KC over TEN, so much unproveness in the WR group with the Chiefs right now. They need that veteran, I guess MVS is by default but he sort of feels like a WR3 at best.

Might be a good time to trade for Mike Evans.

We just threw Cincinnati's entire annual city budget at Joe Burrow. He'll be making close to 4mil a game starting next season. That's absolutely insane.

Very enjoyable evening for sure. We might not see a worse game from a WR all season long. The only other thing that came close to being as funny was how ridiculous the refs were helping the Chiefs o-line, Jawaan Taylor was false starting virtually every snap, so blatantantly even Collinsworth couldn't help but comment on it.

A good performance by Detroit - I think they really needed something like tonight (regardless of whether they won or lost) to start their season. They got good contributions from a lot of their new additions, CJGJ was everywhere, Gibbs showed some juice, and maybe Josh Reynolds will be enough as a WR2? Loved that bold go for it on fourth down call by Campbell inside their own 20 in the first half too.  

Weird to see the Chiefs blow a close-game situation at the end but between the drop and the penalty on 3rd/4th down, it was a bit of a mess. With just average receiver play, they win that game. Chiefs will be fine but they certainly didn’t need that loss in a star-studded AFC. Lions will be competitive all season and I’m not surprised they hung here.

I gotta say, I only got a glancing look at the pick six, switching back and forth with a video game, but GOTDAMN that has to be one of the worst drops I've ever seen, pitch perfect pass.
