I just saw the Chubb injury in slow motion on twitter. No wonder they didn’t replay it. Same leg he broke in college went 90 degrees to the side. His season is done and he might never be the same after this. Holy fuck I feel sick.

Yeah, that was bad, I remember Fast Willie Parker never quite being the same after a leg break, hopefully he recovers in high form.

That turned into a fun game in the second half with Pittsburgh at least showing a little bit of life on offence, but generally they look exactly the same as last season and haven't made any strides - because they are bizarrely persisting with this terrible coordinator. TJ Watt was the only one who did anything decent in the 49ers game, and he and Highsmith basically won this game by themselves.

I think we can safely say that Watson will never return to being a top 5, or even top 10 quarterback again. He looks plain bad, had a low completion percentage despite throwing short a lot of the time and struggled to navigate the pocket (resorting to a couple of fairly dirty facemask penalties). Cleveland sacrificed their franchise image and a lot of money for a guy who at best could be called mediocre, and the cherry on the top is Baker Mayfield thriving in Tampa.

Karmageddon is about to arrive. I love it, serves them right. Not talking about Chubb or Z getting injured of course but Watson and the team struggling. They had their chance to become loveable like the Lions but chose the "Dollar Tree Raiders" route instead. Now they're just a meme... again.

The Bengals have started the season 0-2 so many times in my lifetime before getting their shit together for the playoffs. It's amusing how they act like they've ruined our SB chances off of just one game.

I have no doubt we'll be there but I'll be shocked if they make the playoffs (even before these injuries, the whole team is an unpinned circus peanut grenade owned by a tinfoil clown). Pittsburgh has a better chance and their probably the weakest team in the division.

I saw someone post earlier on Facebook mentioned it’s a MNF curse. That is just wild.

People used to comment any time a player got injured on TNF that games shouldn't be played on Thursdays, it's almost like football is just a dangerous game and injuries will happen no matter what.

I preferred the Steelers haven't lost on MNF since 1991 stat which seems absolutely astonishing.

To some extent, I'm shocked sports in U.S. and Canada didn't adopt having sections for fans of the visiting teams, like there are in most soccer stadiums worldwide. Considering there have always been altercations in sporting venues.
