- Kenny Omega - "You had me on the edge of my seat." Heh. Nice segment to start the show. That gag is the cherry on top.

- Flippity Jackson vs Flippity Fenix. SKIP.

- The audio was terrible on the Cole/Strong segment, another SKIP.

- Griff Garrison? Bahahaha. I remember that guy. Who's his opponent?
Wardlow? Bahahaha. I remember that guy. They've hit the reset switch on Wardlow after ruining him, fortunately he's fondly missed by the fans and still over as rover.

- They actually replayed the Cole/Strong segment? I watched it. I'll just say I wish they hadn't replayed it.

- I no longer care about The Acclaimed. SKIP.

- However, I do have time for Toni Storm. Her new character is a lot of fun.

- I have even more time for Brian Danielson and Zack Sabre Jr. That segment was short. I didn't get enough time. I did find this video and this video which is more time, but still not enough. Yes for a rematch. All the rematches.

- MJF's promos have gone from endless irritating insult-the-fans/city heat to endless irritating crowd pandering, leading the worst forced chants ("Tofu?" For fuck's sake). MJF's problem is that he has no moderation. He comes up with decent ideas, takes them way, way, way too far, and repeats them way too often. SKIP...

- ...until the obvious ploy where Jay White sneak attacks MJF. Jay White grabs a microphone at the ramp. Decent promo from the Switchblade. He's also stolen the AEW World Championship, which would be kinda cool if EVIL wasn't already doing the same thing in New Japan. Copying EVIL is a pretty lame thing to do. Thumbs down, Switchblade.

- Mark Davis is injured again? Bloody hell. At least they aren't champions this time so they don't have to vacate championships. I don't have the energy for more high octane wrestling, so guess what. SKIP. Kyle Fletcher is there to eat the pinfall, and that he does.

- This looong segment continues with a five minute beatdown from a surprise guest: Powerhouse Hobbs! I love this booking decision, what up-and-coming heel wrestler wouldn't want to join up with Don Callis? I sure would. Callis wallops Kenny with a clean chair shot to the head. I thought that stuff wasn't allowed anymore? And where the hell is Kota Ibushi? Injured too? Or just an awful friend?

- Another MJF promo? Fuck. Well this is a backstage interview so hopefully there's no crowd pandering bullshit. Max Caster is stalking MJF apparently. Random. Maybe The Acclaimed and Daddy Ass attacked Jay White?

- Skye Blue, aka The Outcasts' personal jobber, is out to compete. The Outcasts are no more, so she's safe, right? Well, her opponent is Toni Storm, so probably not...

- Toni Storm wrestled for at least a decade with zero personality. Now I know why. She was storing all that personality inside, hibernating, until this very moment where she unleashes her true form. At first it was unclear to me how this character would translate to the ring, but she's fantastic. Skye Blue put up a decent fight but she continues to be Toni Storm's personal jobber.

- Adam Copeland is out to close the show, and he cuts a heartfelt promo, half of it with Christian Cage facing him. Adam asks Christian to be his partner, for one more run. I was hoping Christian would say "I won't stand side by side with anyone until I bleed with 'em first." What Christian did was even better. He hugs Edge, and while they are hugging, he says "Go fuck yourself." Brilliant. I guffawed. That should have been the last word spoken, but Christian stops at the ramp to bring out Luchasaurus and this strange Nick Wayne fellow.
