Nothing says megastar like apologising for your segment not being entertaining enough.

I read "Already have. I could sit here and tell you I’ve consistently been the biggest ratings draw in my company for some time." and assumed he was going to double down and talk about how great he is. Which is what he should have done, and what he would have done as a heel. I personally appreciate the response, but I doubt it's the best thing for his brand. As Todd alluded said, it's not a great look. But maybe it's a gamble that will pay off, somehow, endearing himself to the crowd (one specific fan at least) on a more personal level.

The real question is: why is MJF spending his time responding to random fans on social media? At least it gives us something interesting to talk about.
