MJF will probably defend it on twitter tomorrow and say he 100% greenlit it to try and defuse the fuzz. But I just don't know how TK saw this and said this is making it on the show. 

Not up to MFJ or Tony though, up to WBD. And they may not care about context or MJF suggesting it, which the promo he did later on clearly seemed to indicate.  

Sometimes you want press so bad you don't care if it is good or bad. This probably will dominate the talk tomorrow. And AEW will be the only thing people are talking about. And so way this is CM Punk's fault.

Yeah you can't really do something like that and claim it is cool because one guy it was targeted to says it was fine.

Maybe this was being planned for a while but after the events overseas, you gotta scrap it. Someone had to catch that before it made Live TV. I don't hold that on Juice or whomever, that's on Tony. Can't be controversial at all with that, have to tow the line even if the intent wasn't meant to be nasty.

Payoff wasn't worth it. 

I missed the announcement but this is amazing. $1 million worth of toys and cash to Toys for Tots.

That said, if it does happen, Toni should threaten to walk.  Non competes are paper thin and golden age Toni could appear on Raw in months.

I don't think they meant anything it's just a massive miss. Like when TK didn't catch the Simone Biles rap from Caster and sort of left Max high & dry . Or nearly letting Brian Kendrick get on TV.

Tony is nice but don't think he will just let Toni walk out like that.

FTC is saying non-competes in contracts like that are used in wrestling are not legal. So Tony does not really have much say.

No one pushed it yet, but Tony or WWE wants a guy who is sitting out and wants to jump, I do not imagine the court case will be long as wrestling contracts are of a model of why FTC changed the rules and deemed these anticompetitive.



And does not matter what we think, if people are pissed enough at an antisemitic skit on TV and call the network to complain.  And all TV is talking about is antisemitic terrorism so people are pretty geared up about this all.  Def was a read the fucking room moment.  


Unrelated, since she was mentioned anyone see the Biles news this weekend?  She nailed Biles II and took four gold medals in nationals and locked in the greatest female gymnast of all time.  All that is left is the olympic for all around Gold, and collecting floor and beam, and maybe vault.  America likely will easily take team with her on lead.

Simone Biles is a legend and yeah I think Tony will donate to an anti-Anti-Semitism organization or fundraiser within 1-2 days to try and own up to the mistake, he should do this as soon as tomorrow regardless if the intent was there or not. I don't think he's stubborn enough to stay on his morals and say there was no fault with what he did.

Yeah I seem a lot right people upset after that segment. I tuned out by then for a stream on twitch, and people instantly were in chat like WTF was that. Then a few posts on my twitter with people upset. Clearly people were not ok with it.

I saw the Max promo calling Cole bringing up that BCG was bringing up painful memories from the past, so clearly he was ok with the angle, and likely suggested it, but still, people are upset and not in a wrestling heat way. They are not mad at Juice, they are pissed at Tony. If Tony does take action against Juice on behalf of the network it will just be more people pissed at Tony.

The roll of quarters has been a thing Juice has done for years. It’s where his “Left Hand of God” finisher came from. It just so happens it is a perfect fit for this feud because of MJF’s prior promo and because the Dynamite Diamond on Juice’s left hand would make him that much more powerful.

But I guess none of that matters because racism. Whatever. Fucking internet wins again.

Whole lot of wrestling journalists are calling this out now. Most of the replies to the tweet of the promo are people asking why the hell was this allowed.

People did not see the angle, they just saw antisemitism. And that is a problem when you are on national TV for a publicly traded company.

Think he is pissed that WWE does not plan to let him beat them in ratings easily anymore when they run against each other.  Tony seemed to love claiming he was beating WWE, and WWE seems to be sick of his bullshit claiming AEW are beating them, when he simply beats their training fed.  

So WWE is calling his bluff, plans to show against a real WWE card, AEW is second tier, and Tony is having a temper tantrum.  This is despite most AEW fans knowing businesswise, this is a second fed.  AEW fans like the wrestling more, but no one is deluded enough to think any star in AEW is on the level of Cena or the Rock.

TK shouldn't worry about WWE, his B shows are being beaten by WOW now....

Given only 42% to 48% of Americans still have cable, ratings are an obsolete metric really.

But the pissing contest for them made everyone involved look bad. Even the talent was openly against turning things into NXT vs AEW encouraging fans to check out both.

And now MJF has used this to promote a speech he’s making for Stand Up to Jewish Hate? Who thought this was a good idea?
