People at the event said the whole the arena is mostly empty stuff is just internet nonsense from people who do not actually attend shows. All wrestling events have shit blocked off for production, which should be obvious but seems it is not.
Or the show just pulled a bad crowd (notice the final count? barely half of what they set up for) but don't let facts get in the way of your narrative.

People on reddit at the show said those diagrams were BS pretty much and the place was pretty full. But hey go with whatever narrative you all want, personally, I do not care what the numbers are.

Reports coming in that talent is suggesting Tony stop posting on social media after this shitshow of a week from him.

Oh shit! Yeah, those empty seats are because of the bots. Didn't you know there's a direct correlation between a lack of attendance and ratings for AEW and WWE bots. Think about it!

Tony should really act with more class as the owner on social media. Be upset behind close doors because he comes off as an entitled child if he acts this way to one loss.

'People on reddit' isn't an actual source. Look at the video, notice all the empty seats that aren't tarped off? They do a better job of corroborating the facts than some random online account who may not even exist let alone be at the show.

I was shocked that Shida won. I had a feeling that Britt was gonna interfere & turn on her. RJ City finally taught Shida all the English she needs, and now she's putting her foot down! Shida can sing! no fear will stop her now!

I caught the show. Danielson vs Swerve, Hangman vs Jay and Copeland vs Luchasaurus were all excellent matches.
Toni Storm's silent film was a decent idea on paper but the finished product wasn't great. However, not a bad way to fill the time during a picture-in-picture.
However the man of the night was Christian Cage. He opened the show with the promo and opened the main event with an even better promo. Great work.

If we're going to argue about empty seats, I don't really know how anyone can say those videos and numbers don't look bad.
The show I went to here in Edmonton had the two middle sections on the hard cam side blocked off for production crew. Even then, about 1/4 of those seats had people in them that were either families or friends of AEW staff and wrestlers, or VIPs or whatever.
The rest of the lower arena was full and about half of the upper deck was full. They blocked off the upper sections on either side of the stage because it wasn't a full sellout, but I would say about 80% of the tickets were sold and handed out and attendance reflected that. Even with those few sections blocked off for obvious reasons, the arena looked full and felt like it.
Those videos posted are a bad look. I feel for PNW and non-California west US AEW fans because with that turnout, and with how long it took AEW to get there, I doubt we see them come back any time soon.

The videos looked bad, but could have been honest that they were taken after Rampage when Edge came back out. Most of the videos posted are done near the end of the shows after a lot of the audience leaves. Should not be shocking a lot of the live crowd opts to beat traffic and leaves after dynamites, and does not stick around for Rampage and post show nonsense.

Kind of wish Tony would do what everyone seems to be pushing him to do, and say fuck all minor markets, only major wrestling markets now can get live shows, and just cancel events for most of the US. Flyover states, no AEW. Canada, no AEW. Northwest, and midsouth no AEW. Deep south, no AEW. Pack the arena or you get no shows period.

It's a tricky thing isn't it. If you avoid the smaller markets potentially you lose ground, or exposure or fail to capture families and casual fans. Then, maybe you come by every 12 months and the local fans are salivating for it and then sell out the place.
TK probably needs to accept AEW isn't anywhere near as popular with particularly families as the WWE is, and play smaller arenas.
At least that way he can say it was sold out... 5,000 seats, mind you... but it was sold out.

Seems only the internet believes AEW is as popular as WWE. AEW sure does not.

You may not fill the major arenas WWE does, but you can still fill minor to mid-major arenas in those major markets. It's time to focus on those spots.

Why does it suspiciously mirror this?
Be honest with me.

Hey, didn't we already established that you can't measure any of the following:
- ratings - attendance - profitability - video game sales - spots-to-injury ratios
