Nice to see the chiefs win a not close game against the Herberts. We beat them all the time, but usually it requires more in the 4th quarter. Mecole Hardman doubled his season reception total with a nice third down grab and got in a good punt return as well.

Not sure what came of the Frank Clark news, but pass rush with Omenihu debuting didn’t suggest they need him.

Philly looks good in Kelly Green.

It was nice to see the Giants minor recovery continue this week, obviously they are still far from an impressive offence but Tyrod Taylor has everything looking noticeably better, he has better chemistry with Waller than Jones has showed, and has superior pocket presence which has allowed some opportunities to get the ball deep to Hyatt Although they went very quiet in the second half, it was really only unforced errors that kept the game close - Kayvon dropped a ridiculously easy would-be pick six, Saquon had a rare fumble inside the 10, and the usually reliable Gano missed a short FG. Washington are a team going totally nowhere, surely this will be the last year of the Ron Rivera era. Howell makes a few good plays but he isn't really anything special and I have watched too many Commanders games where they just don't throw the ball to McLaurin for long stretches even though he is by far their best player.

The Chiefs/Chargers game was a letdown and speaks to LA's disappointing season. With this rivalry you're usually guaranteed a close game that ends in a KC win, but this was a rare one that they won easily. Kelce always seems to go off against the Chargers but this one was more ridiculous than usual, he had giant paddocks of space in the middle of the field in the first half before Staley finally made some adjustments. This was yet another great defensive effort from KC who now have a top-5 type unit, not really fair considering Mahomes was winning Super Bowls with bottom tier defences.

SNF didn't quite live up to expectations, Miami is going to have to find a way to keep their offence going when they face stronger d-lines, their run game got shut down and they couldn't really overcome it. In their defence, their two struggles tonight of not being able to run the ball, and not being able to guard AJ Brown, are directly connected to their key injury absences. Jalen Hurts has been turning over the ball a lot lately but if you look beyond the box score, he's actually playing rather well, and he doesn't let mistakes rattle him.

Nice to see Philly wore those throwbacks vs the Phins for some cozy Ace Ventura vibes

Eagles traded for Kevin Byard - you'd think teams would have learned from last season not to give Philly solid veterans for pennies. 🙄

Giants defense played their heart out, worried about them next week. Giants will of course return Andrew Thomas so the Giants O-Line is going to be back at full force to stifle the Jets pass rush.  You have guys like Leonard Williams and Jason Pinnock who will treat this game vs the Jets like the super bowl too so I expect a SOTN contest between the 2.

I forgot about the Cardinals at 1 win, they are the lone threat but I can't see Caleb Williams wanting to play for the Cards(Not that Chicago's any better). He wants partial ownership and the Cards are dead last in team facility rankings and have a controversial owner. Can def see him pulling an Eli Manning and wanting to be traded to like New England or Denver.
