If Calvin Ridley wasn’t such a bum, I would be pulling the most wild comeback on mikec right now. Give me overtime! Got it close. You me and @admin going to have the same record with two weeks to go and a two game lead for playoff spots. Want to avoid Blindy in first round.

That was a great game, shame about Lawrence's injury, I'd be stunned if he doesn't at least miss a bit of time after the way he reacted.
What a performance by Browning though! He turned our early game jokes into terrible takes - that was one of the best games by a QB all season period. He was fantastic
It's been a rough season for the primetime games but this week delivered.

Caught bits of the game last night and it just reminded me of the old AFC Central when it had 6 teams, 1999 to 2001, Baltimore/Pittsburgh/Tennessee/Cleveland/Jacksonville/Cincinnati I had such a hard on for that division, it was like a mini-league within the NFL, teams would play 10 of their 16 game schedule against division foes. Browns and Bengals were awful all 3 of those years but Tennessee vs Baltimore was a sick rivalry in there, Browns vs Jags was turning into a rivalry with some pretty heated games in 2000-2001. I miss it, the 4 team divisions lost that whole vibe. If I’m rebooking the 2002 realignment I’m moving Cardinals to NFC west(making it the NFC’s 6 team division; Sf/Atl/Car/Az/STL-La/NO), Baltimore to NFC East and putting Houston in that AFC Central in their place.

Jags letting Lawrence walk all the way through the field even with support & tunnel is lunacy. Do they not have carts or anything to help him out? Florida. Tony Khan and his dad would rather spurge on a WWE star to join AEW than get basic necessities in a football game. :suspic:

Been messing around with the playoff machine on ESPN site it’s been a few years. All the scenarios I get with Pittsburgh finishing with identical record gives them the tiebreaker, currently we are both 7-5 and they have the spot over us. How is that if we beat them head to head?

This is an amazing story - and a pretty big reminder that people in football love to pretend that football is complicated and intellectual but really it is just a dumb game played and coached by a lot of dumb people.
Another great nugget:
Take the “Niagara Falls” speech. In December 2021, locals will recall the news of a woman deliberately driving into the waterway that spills into the falls. She drifted down the Niagara River before her vehicle was lodged against a rock about 50 yards from the brink. McDermott studied up and pieced together a speech. The coach explained how members from the Coast Guard did everything they could to save the woman. He built up the drama. Players held on tight for an inspiring apex, and… nothing. He said the woman died. End of story. The complete absence of a point had some players biting their tongues, trying their hardest not to laugh.
