I am all for division alignment/playoff reform, we've had over 20 years with this layout that's longer than any alignment in history where there were no expansion teams or anything added. It's just been the 32 at 4X4 for 22 years now. Obviously I think it is perfect at 16 games and the 12 team playoffs but with them added more regular season games, I'd like to see them go ahead and make it 16 team tournament for playoffs. Also don't like the odd numbers of regular season games, go ahead and bump it to 18 games, then if you do all that might as well realign divisions and add 2 more expansion teams I think would balance it all out. But thing with that is with all these extra games you're talking 22 games for a team to win a Super Bowl everybody will be hurt by the time you get there. 

Rankins would have had him on second down had holding been called. Good play on third down regardless.

The fact that the Panthers who have 1 win aren't eliminated from postseason contention because they're hiding in this joke of a division says it all. If you can't get an over .500 record in this division despite those 2 gimmie wins, nah give it to another team the seed. You will have teams like Dallas intentionally try and get the 5 seed to get that matchup instead of facing Detroit or San Francisco round 1.

Rankins vs Laken Tomlinson is a massive mismatch in favor for you guys. Big Shel is a handful on running plays, Breece Hall's best run was bouncing on the outside to the left and away from him.

I like that idea, only issues is maybe with 8 team divisions a team would have 14 division games, leaving room for only 3-4 non-division opponents on a schedule is pretty limiting. But it would be interesting, more rivalries would develop and games would become more meaningful, I think it would be a more competitive league, win an 8 team division and you'd have earned that fucking home playoff game for sure. 

I don’t know how Dennis Allen still has a job. This team is allergic to scoring touchdowns.

Just read this is the Brad Allen crew who has been publicly called out for being the worst ref crew of the year and the NFL is "keeping an eye" on their performance today. You have 1 team fighting for the playoffs here, why throw this crew out in this game?
