I chuckle at what Jimmy’s doing generally, but also don’t get it at all. “I hate Roman so much that I didn’t want Jey to turn into him so now I’m going to go back and take on Roman’s mannerisms while my brother is a star on the other channel.” is a weird gimmick.
And a lot of that was just lost around the reason for the Jimmy turn on Jey. Make it a real turn, they just lost the thread on why he did it. And we couldn’t possibly beat Roman OR allow Roman to beat the obviously less than character without Jimmy interfering.

He's collateral damage. They want Reigns as champion for years to come, but Reigns don't want to come to work, so they need someone to represent Roman Reigns on a weekly basis.
Then Jey got too good at his job and they couldn't not capitalise on that.

After Jimmy turned on Jey, the story paused. My interest has diminished. It's like they don't know what to do with Jimmy now. He just didn't get over. Jimmy lacks the energy that Jimmy has.

I don't like streaks, all it does is turn main eventers into mid card jobbers This is why I hate Triple H after Austin and Rock left he squashed all the up and coming talent and created a wasteland, they had to go the superman Cena gimmick to cover it up.

I saw some random girl on Instagram talking about it, Logan Paul has had the US Title for over 60 days without a single title defence - that's what I hate.
The IC and US Titles should be the TV belts, the " workhorse " Championships, the main event of RAW/Smackdown to save the World/WWE for the PLE - not a piece for a celebrity ( as good a superstar he is ) to carrying around from podcast to podcast.

As a non-watcher, what is the actual point of the belt Roman has if Raw has an actual top prize? Is this the brand split problem they found with the undisputed title?

As a non-watcher, what is the actual point of the belt Roman has if Raw has an actual top prize? Is this the brand split problem they found with the undisputed title? I believe Roman's Undisputed WWE Universal Championship is still the top prize. And I think most fans see it that way, but they also see the World Championship as a consolation prize for everyone who couldn't beat Reigns. The brand split can work, but you actually need a champion that turns up to work. The problem is Joe Anoaʻi isn't around enough to portray Roman Reigns. He had all of 7 televised matches (+4 house shows) in 2023. His record isn't one of dominance, it's avoidance. It's not like Roman Reigns turns up every week, cut's a 30 minute ' reign of terror ' promo and hams it up all night selling the next PPV instead of wrestling. Joe Anoaʻi just isn't there. I get the man was sick, and that sucks. But what are they going to do.. leave the title on him until the day he retires? I take back that comment about him potentially being able to claim to be the most profitable champion ever, he's never there. Which says, the WWE doesn't need him as they're killing it at the moment regardless of his contributions. So, drop the title to someone who will be on TV every week..
