Caleb Williams is going number one no matter what just a matter if he's a Bear or someone trades up with them. If it's NE trading up then yeah Bears still land in Harrison Jr position but it depends on if Bears will want Fields and pay him shortly a good amount of money or reset the clock with Caleb Williams.

Don’t see how. Fields has been a little better but he still isn’t all that good.

Williams is like 85% likely to go first but the more and more that comes out about his personality and character I wouldn’t be shocked if teams talked themselves into someone else.

I don’t wanna hear it either. Marvin Harrison has the potential to be a franchise changing receiver. Better than taking a shot at an offensive linemen or projecting that Caleb is the right answer.

Remember when everyone was like UH WTF when the Bengals took Jamarr over Sewell? I think Fields is good, but his only options that are reliable are DJ and Kmet. Mooney is a bum.

He’s got a borderline AP receiver this year and probably a Top 7-10 receiving tight end. Those excuses can’t continue to work.

His offensive line is not great but his biggest problem also remains that he holds the ball way too long. Even more so than his inconsistency accuracy… he doesn’t get rid of the ball and doesn’t sense pressure.

You want an indictment on Fields and what his future holds in Chicago and what this coaching staff thinks of him?

They have NOTHING to lose playing against their greatest rivals to knock them out of the playoffs and they let Fields throw it 16 times. Sixteen times!

I am not a fan of Caleb Williams antics either and he will get humbled really bad in an NFL locker room if he doesn't shapen up. Jumping into his parents arms crying over a losing streak and rocking back and forth over a loss/avoiding media for his final game are bad looks. His backup came in and had a show in the bowl game and teammates were screaming about how they played like a team that game too. :lol: He might get a rookie year Trevor Lawrence type of humbling and I am curious if he goes to a cold weather town like CHI or NE how he fares but hey.

They going to need a lot more than a receiver anyways. The Chargers as much as anyone need to acquire a ton of picks.
