Its about to dip down to like 10 degrees here tonight on through the whole weekend, coffee and football all weekend. I'm so stoked about the Texans this year I can't stand it, that team is my heart. We're taking down the bad guys today I wish Watson was playing.

Rooting for the Texans but I don’t think they beat the Browns and that defense. Hopefully if Stroud struggles in his first ever playoff game against an elite defense people aren’t quick to bury him, his future is bright regardless but I just don’t know if Houston has the horses this early in the Stroud era.

No burial he's our bubba for life, I would even be in favor of pulling him out of there if things get nasty and he's just getting lit up looking lost like in that Jets game. Just put Keenum in there and I'm still over the moon about beating the Titans/Colts and getting Vrabel fired.

I've had Peacock for a while it' pretty cheap for the old wrestling.
I'm watching the Tampa game the one game I missed this year downloaded from a torrent site oh man this is one to keep, this is truly spectacular.

Not enough for me to have to deal with the 50 million Office ads I will see throughout. I might cave in for a month because Royal Rumble szn is near but still hate the practice and supporting it.

I still remember Watson completely shitting the bed against the Colts in his first play-off game. It can happen. He bounced back the next season perfectly. Given the way they shift Garrett across the line, it’s not exaggeration to say that Texans tackle Noah Fant may be the second most important offensive player today for the Texans.

Two things with Peacock: 1) it's a shameless money grab by NBC and 2) nobody outside the United States has legal access to it.
NFL has a huge following in Canada, Europe, Australia...but hey, fuck all of them if they want to watch the Chiefs/Dolphins game today. You are trying to expand to other markets with your international games, yet you are making it harder for those fans to watch playoff games? What the fuck are you doing?
...
Anyway, I'm super nervous about tomorrow. People are writing Pittsburgh off already and all I can think about is what happened last time they had home field advantage in shitty weather in the playoffs...

I'm so hyped I can't stand it. I'm going to step outside and freeze myself like Cartman, thaw me out at 3:30.
Look at all the guys we got back from injury that were out in the last game. Do the Browns still have no kicker? Also think this is a big pressure game for Slowick, if they pull this out he's a made guy?

Not enough for me to have to deal with the 50 million Office ads I will see throughout. I might cave in for a month because Royal Rumble szn is near but still hate the practice and supporting it. People act like Sunday Ticket hasn’t existed forever. I've tried the NFL and MLB deals and neither will air Astros or Texans games because it says they are in-market local, even though they are not(I live about 3.5-4 hours from Houston now, but still in Texas, closer to Dallas). I wonder how this works for cities with 2 teams now that there are no NFC/AFC restrictions for Fox/CBS, like Giants/Jets and Chargers/Rams. What if both teams are on Fox or CBS that week? Do they carefully make sure not to schedule it like that? If that's the case I'd appreciate the same attention paid to the Texans being in the New Orleans/Dallas market to keep them on the opposite channel. I'm curious if that's a thing, say if you're a Chargers or Jets fan that lives 4 hours from LA/NY do you have weeks where your team's game just doesn't come on TV, while Sunday Ticket blacks it out because it's local? Messy deal, with technology what it is in 2024 I shouldn't be missing Texans games living in Texas. My laptop is acting weird ever since that last illegally streamed game a few weeks back. Also maddening to me that when I do try to stream one through the illegal streams in 2023-2024 with all the high speed 5G streaming technology now but when I try to stream a Texans game it's like suddenly trying to watch a video on your computer in 2001, looks like shit, takes 2 hours to get one to work, constant freezing/skipping/crashing.

I live in Wisconsin but like 30 miles from the Minnesota border so I get all Minnesota local channels and don’t have a choice but to get Sunday Ticket to watch Packer games. Which I watch all the games so I don’t mind but it still sucks for a lot of people. I’ve never had a problem with Sunday Ticket blacking them out though. Either way paying 75 a month for Sunday Ticket and the 70 or so minimum for the base package just to get access to it really makes the Peacock thing for 2.50 seem like Pennie’s. Nevermind the fact I already had Peacock anyways as it’s one of the best streamers out there IMO.

International rights are sold separately though. So here in the UK, all of the games will be on Sky Sports, including the Peacock-designated game. If that isn’t the case in the Canada, that is an insane oversight by the NFL.

What’s crazier to me is the hype between Miami/KC since Cheetah left and the Chiefs won the SB first year without him. So with all that hype, the first match up is in Germany (shizen!) and the second more meaningful playoff game is on Peacock. They’re making that awesome match up so complicated every time.

Also I know history says the Chiefs SHOULD win due to the Dolphins and Tua being winless in poor weather games BUT I am super fucking nervous. I do not need to hear all the shit talk I’m going to have to hear if the Chiefs lose first round about their roster, Kelce being old and Mahomes slipping off. It’s time to shine Patty. Remind them ONCE AGAIN who you are.

I don’t love the Chiefs overall this year but I’d be surprised if the Dolphins in their current state beat KC… the weather only adds to that.
It may not be the traditional Chiefs way of winning but their defense should be enough and Pacheco would be the X-factor.
My prediction
Chiefs - 20 Dolphins - 9

I’m enjoying the Dolphins shit talking in the media all week about how the weather doesn’t bother them, and it’s becoming progressively more overt as the week wears on. Fairly sure Tua will be shirtless by the time the game starts.

Do the Browns still have no kicker? Also think this is a big pressure game for Slowick, if they pull this out he's a made guy? My heart is pounding. Nothing like play off football. On Slowik, I would say to other teams, buyer beware. Getting into third and long consistently and getting out of it because CJ Stroud is your quarterback is not an indication you’re going to be an effective offensive mind elsewhere. Don’t get me wrong, Slowik deserves credit with the Texans offensive line injuries and no great running back, he’s managed it well. He is making chicken salad with some chicken shit. But Stroud bails him out time and time again. I’m still undecided on him as a whole. Browns signed Patterson to kick since Hopkins is injured. I don’t see a weakness there. It was weird that Patterson didn’t get a team in the first place. Career long of 53 though, so if we stop them around the 40, it could get interesting.
