Not shocked to see the stadium at least partially empty. Some interstate closures up this way have messed with travel even to get to KC after the 20 inches of snow this week, plus the cold is a little terrifying. I have been really interested in getting to a game this year but even with the significant price drops I couldn’t convince myself it was worth the risks driving and the cold.

Yikes for the Dolphins first two kicks of the game. Is that wind issue or weather? Butlers kickoff made the end zone though not his typical through the endzone power.

Not digging Miami's energy thus far in. I really think McDaniel needs this one, we discussed it in the college thread but I can't see a world where if Jim Harbaugh is available, that Stephen Ross doesn't at least inquire, especially if this one gets lopsided.

I get it. I just know that nothing has ever stopped it in Green Bay… even in the regular season. We are mostly drunk though.

Really puts it into perspective the original Ice Bowl the Lambeau field was packed, all those fans got out in that shit and sat there for the full 3 hour game. It was the NFL Championship Game(winner went on to Super Bowl II). I believe it was like 50 degrees below with the wind chill. One of the older fans in the crowd died of exposure. Commentators in the press box coffee froze solid minutes after it was poured, referee lip ripped off when it stuck to his whistle early in the game there were no more whistles for the rest of the game the refs just yelled verbal commands to stop.

My other guess is that there have been 2-3 playoff games in KC every year for the last 5, so supply reduces demand?

Tua is still gonna get that payday but he's gotta showup in one of these terrible weather games sooner or later. Same shit got Derek Carr throughout his time in Oakland/Las Vegas.

I’m at a pub watching the game and there are a handful of Dolphins fans watching at another table. They are not having a good time. Already ordered a round of shots.

I don’t love the Chiefs and find their fans (not mikec) to be annoying but man Pacheco is fun.
