Pulling for a Ravens/Lions SB but it’ll probably be Ravens/49ers.

DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHO THE FUCK PATRICK MAHOMES IS YET?!?! We are 1 win away from that Patty Mahomes Sr blunt special. Forget Jackson Mahomes(Who got kicked off the show) or Brittany Mahomes or the newcomers of the season(Taylor Swift/Mama Kelce/Jason Kelce as a surprise cameo), put some respect on Mahomes Sr's name.

That is both hilarious and sad. I don’t like it but I will laugh at it.
I’m gonna have the last sip of scotch I was saving and a good cry then go to bed. Shitty way to go out. Wide right. Like come on.
gg Chiefs. Wish our defence got a couple more stops and wish our coach wasn’t a fucking tool. See you next year.
Go whoever wins between the Lions and Niners.

Don’t get me started on yo boys. Hard to win when you are playing two teams: KC and the Refs. Weak sauce. The only questionable call in the game is the pass interference that led to nothing. Refs called the fumble correctly for you even though it was close.

Honestly, a couple of the calls that weren’t made should have been against Buffalo like the forward throw from Allen in 1st quarter. I just like to rib Kid. We messed up big many times this game from shit defence to fumbles, to failing to convert fake punts, etc. I can be pissed about Diggs and Bass missing big plays, but what it comes down to is that the Chiefs played better. It was a good, close game that kept me on the edge of my seat all game.

It's easy to talk about Bass missing the kick but the Bills really fell apart in that fourth quarter, they had the terrible fake punt (didn't hate the call necessarily, just the play was awful), Allen got away with a fumble, Diggs dropped a very catchable deep shot, and then Allen tried to play hero ball instead of continuing to just take what was available to him.
That throw to the endzone when Diggs was wide open across the middle really was unforgivable, even if he hit the touchdown you give the ball back to Mahomes with 90 seconds left on the clock which they know better than anyone doesn't work. They made a bad time management call prior to the 13 second touchdown two years ago, when the teams are evenly matched it's those little things that make all the difference.

Bills/Chiefs only have classics. Bills losing was a punch to the gut though. I don't have much emotional investment in these games nowadays, but I wanted to see the Bills get over the hump. Tired of the Chiefs. Sorry KING KID. 49ers/Packers & Lions/Bucs were solid matchups. SF/GB in particular had me on the edge of my seat. Ravens continue to dominate. Only blowout of the week which was a refreshing change after a bunch of routs last week.

You know you can’t cheer for Lamar, the 49ers or the Lions… They are probably the best of the worst, and I love Taylor but the amount of bandwagoners worldwide make it hard to root for them. I can’t stand Lamar and will never root for him. Ever. Detroit even aside from being a division foe (not quite rival) their fans can jump off a cliff. One playoff win in 100 years and they act like they’re the fucking Steelers with decades of success. And the 49ers are the 49ers.

We have no business beating the Ravens this week, but we don’t need business. We have Mahomes and he is the business.
Only thing that worries me is this intertwined inception world I feel we live in. Harbaugh beat Alabama to get to the chip. Alabama a whole lot like Kansas City. Now the other Harbaugh has to get through KC dynasty to get to the chip. If we live in a simulation, we get Baltimore beating the Cinderella story Lions in the Super Bowl.

I don't see anything annoying about the four teams remaining, I won't be upset by anyone winning. I was a little bit burnt out on the Chiefs this time last season (so I do understand the fatigue with them) but they've won me back over by going through their offensive struggles this year, and the players they have leant on to overcome it like Rice and Pacheco are fresh, unique and fun. Mahomes winning a third ring in his sixth season would just be absurd.
As I said earlier in the thread, not liking Lamar is just completely bizarre to me. He is an electrifying player to watch and one of the most likeable personalities in the league. He's been doubted from the word go, every team in the league had TWO opportunities to get him and passed it up and he's only gone on to become a two time MVP. Their defence is also incredible to watch and any fan of old school hard nosed football should love the way they gang tackle and rally to the ball.
Detroit are obviously the Cinderella story, a franchise that has struggled for so long steadily improving under the leadership of another one of the most likeable personalities in the league, Dan Campbell. He's another one who was doubted from the start, now having the last laugh on those who mocked him for the kneecap line. Jared Goff was supposed to be riding the bench now, everyone thought David Montgomery was one of the worst backs in the league, St Brown was drafted after some receivers who are already out of the league.
The 49ers are the team that anyone who was rooting for the Bills to get over the hump should transfer their energy to. They've fallen just short a number of times in recent years but have returned with the best version of their offence yet. Brock Purdy was Mr Irrelevant! George Kittle likes wrestling!
I don't really see anything dislikeable about any of these teams. All the teams that did shitty things like Cleveland, are boring and assy like Pittsburgh, or got high on their own supply like Philly already got bounced. It's a fun year to be a neutral.

People really picking the Ravens to beat the Chiefs is mind blowing to me.
Lamar is 2-3 in the playoffs with a 5/5 TD/INT ratio. How is that good enough to beat Patrick Mahomes? Get the fuck outta here. Same shit as last years game against the Eagles. Hurts, Jackson, same shit. Unreliable running QBs. What weapons does Lamar have offensively that separate them from the Chiefs weapon? Who’s his best offensive weapon? Likely? Flowers? OBJ? Cmon man. I’ll take Kelce/Rice over those 3 combined.
It won’t be a high scoring game but in the end, it’ll be Lamar’s mistakes and Mahomes clutchness that puts the end result in the Chiefs making it to back to back Super Bowls.

People really picking the Ravens to beat the Chiefs is mind blowing to me. It shouldn't be. The Ravens are red hot. They were the only team to win decisively last week. They've won the last 7 games Lamar started. 6 of those wins came by 10 points or more. It's not like they've been feasting on creampuffs either. 6 of those 7 teams had winning records. 4 of them made the playoffs. They put up 56 on the Dolphins, laid the smackdown on a very strong 49ers team, and put an end to the Texans Cinderella Story with ease. He's also 7-0 with a 16/2 TD/INT ratio over his last 7 starts. It's Flowers. He had a good rookie season. Kelce & Rice do have slightly better numbers though. Likely has been coming on strong since Andrews went down with injury. Your boys are gonna need to keep a close eye on him. Especially down in the red zone. OBJ will disappear for long stretches of time but does still make the occasional big play. Plus the Ravens have a strong defense. I'm not saying the Ravens are a STONE COLD LOCK to win (though I am picking them in your contest thingie). I've seen Mahomes & the Chiefs pull out too many victories to be overconfident in a Ravens victory. Plus I'm not even a Ravens fan! But I have watched a lot of their games. They're a very good football team. And you treating the 14-4 Ravens (best record in the NFL!) as if they're Panthers or whoever with no chance in hell of winning doesn't sit well with me, man. See you Sunday.

See you Sunday. Let me tell you something BROTHER. Do you know what Jalen Hurts numbers were coming into the Super Bowl match up last season? Do you remember the hype the Eagles got? They’re “dominating opponents”. “Hurts is unstoppable!” “Eagles D Line is going to dismantle the Chiefs O-Line!” What happened in that game? Patrick Mahomes FOUND A WAY TO WIN. All I’m saying is the same hype Lamar Jackson is getting right now is the same hype Jalen Hurts got last year. The same hype the Ravens are getting this year is the same hype the Eagles got last year. Do you know what happened the last time Lamar Jackson won MVP? They had a BYE week. They were the highest scoring team in the NFL. Best rushing team in the NFL. They ended up losing to the Tennessee fucking Titans who had Ryan Tannehill as the starter. Why? Because Lamar Jackson choked! His #1 weapon? Rookie receiver Hollywood Brown. AKA Zay Flowers. This time no Mark Andrews. Get with the program. Lamar Jackson is not him. Do you know what else happened that season? The Chiefs beat the 49ers in the Super Bowl as fucking underdogs. Get with the program. Patrick Mahomes is him.

Warren Sharp (not even his real name) is nothing but a clickbait merchant. The away team winning 13 out of 16 games does sound a bit strange at first, but people have pointed out that the team with the better record won 11 of those games (and in two the teams finished with the same record) so really it was just that he was assigned a lot of games where good road teams beat inferior home teams.
