My boss has a wild theory.
Roman is in danger of losing the title. Heyman calls for Solo and Jimmy to come to his aid but the Rock intercepts them. No fight. They just respect him and stand down. This leaves the Tribal Chief vulnerable and also distracted. RKO. Randy takes the title of Roman. CM Punk wins the Royal Rumble last eliminated Cody who went the distance from 1-2 to a real heartbreaker. Punk challenges Seth at Mania. Cody goes to Elimination Chamber and wins the right to face his former mentor at WrestleMania. Roman faces Rock for the title of Tribal Chief at Mania. As a real slap in the face, Roman has to open night two. Jimmy and Jey open night one.

I'm looking forward to this, as I've always been a fan of the Royal Rumble match itself.
Honestly, though, I hope they don't do any repeat winners this year, at least for the women anyway, as I feel it's still too early for that, just not sure who else they could have win it, that hasn't already won it, maybe Bayley but yeah.

Bayley to finish the story! That's crazy that she's never had a singles match at WM, easily the most selfless of the 4 Horsewomen. She deserves it tonight if she wins even if that means Damage CTRL breaking up and a face Bayley facing heel Iyo and her buds. Maybe Dakota Kai and Raquel Gon...Rodriguez reunite IDK for a shot at the Warriors at WM.

Holy shit, if it actually happens... word going around the internet, is that Jordynne Grace, of all people will be in the rumble match. I'm not sure if I believe it, but would be pretty awesome to see. Esit: with Mickie James, it at least made sense, given her history with the WWE.

I don't know why WWE would do it though, Mickie when she appeared was at least a familiar name. What has Grace done in WWE lore? Use that spot for one of your NXT gals and give them exposure. Davenport or Stratton or Perez, there's people to pick from.

You know what's weird that I just thought of? There hasn't been a single peep about MJF showing up in the Royal Rumble. Not one. I thought there would have been crazy rumours about him and his whole bidding war of 2024 shtick but it's been dead quiet. People on Twitter/X hyping up that the end of the show is going to be spicy. I have no idea how you can do this, I don't think anyone winning would really warrant this. That means someone is returning/debuting. Unless the World Championship ends the show then that probably means a new champ. If one of the rumbles end the show, I am curious what the buzz is about then. Rock/Reigns for a non title and Rhodes winning the RR to get new champ Randy Orton can def. work. Not sure if that's what happens but hey.
