People will vouch that this is in Campbell's DNA that he does this and yeah but it was dumb as fuck to go for the 2 point convo after the phantom penalty in Dallas just as much as it is here with 2 opt outs with a kicker who has been nearly flawless in that range to go for it on 4th and 5 or whatever.

Fire Campbell. Hire Bellicheck. Campbell been the best coach for that organization. Belichick may be an upgrade from an in game perspective but he will suck the life out of that team with the "Patriot way". The Lions fans saw the Patriot way already with Patricia. Stick with Campbell and hope he can find another Ben Johnson.

All this Campbell hate is a bit silly. I get it and think you clearly go for three in that spot however thereâs something to be said for sticking with what go you there.
Also letâs not forget the two dropped conversions on 3rd and 4th down along with an interception deflection somehow turning into a 50 yard gain for the 49ers. There was execution issues on the field as well.
Any idea he should be fired is even more ridiculous. From three wins to 12 wins and an NFC title game in two years. All this for what might be the worst overall franchise in NFL history in terms of success.
The 49ers are so flukey though. Kansas City is going to wash them ⊠well it might be close but they ainât winning.

Oh anyone wanting Campbell fired is insane. I get the anger at him though. Not taking the FG on that 4th down was a bad decision.
You've already failed to convert on one 4th down, your team is folding like a paper bag, and if you don't convert you give them great field position and even more momentum. And of course, look what happened. Failed to convert, SF is in the endzone two minutes later putting the game to bed.
Of course the kicker could have missed and you would be in the same position but at least you are giving your team the best chance at success in that situation. Campbell should have recognize that and adjusted. Time will tell if he is just that stubborn or if he can make the right decisions in high pressure situations.
Detroit has a lot to be proud of and it's great to see them as a successful team for once, and Campbell deserves to be there for a while. Losing like that is going to make everyone think irrationally though. If I was a Detroit fan I wouldn't be getting out of bed today.

Every year I do a Super Bowl pool with my family. 10 questions + bonus, most right wins. I always make the 10th question something silly and you can bet your buns it will be âover/under on camera cuts to Taylor Swiftâ or âwhich quarter do they cut to her the mostâ or something. :lol: Glad that question wrote itself this year. I struggle sometimes.
