The Chiefs are trying to join the 1968 Jets as the only teams to win a Super Bowl on a divisional rivals home field. That's the last and only time they ever won one. Probably going to be the case during my lifetime too. Nah the Jets got it next year. 100%.

Yesterday's games will haunt the losing teams for some time I think, they were eminently winnable for both but slipped through their respective fingers for two quite different reasons. Baltimore strangely decided to abandon the run game and RPOs that were such a staple for their offence all season and insisted on trying to throw the ball deep, despite KCs strength being their pass defence. It felt like there was a concerted effort to try and prove that Lamar could outduel Mahomes which was a ridiculous approach to take, especially considering the score remained close all game. Monken deserves a lot of the blame for only having the RBs run 6 times, but Jackson fairly much wilted, he was making poor decisions all game, noticeably had scramble lanes numerous times but chose not to run.
To their credit, Kansas City have entered the Patriots zone of making opponents press and get away from what they do well in an attempt to slay the beast. It happened to Josh Allen in clutch time last week and they completely melted the Ravens offence down here. Steve Spagnuolo is just a really, really good coordinator who never gets enough credit.
For Detroit it was much more about execution, the fourth down thing is an instant tell for whose opinions are worth listening to. Vildor's dropped interception that led to Aiyuk's circus catch, Reynolds' two drive-ending drops, Firkser stepping out of bounds when he should have been able to score the TD with 1:10 left on the clock - all disastrous. The 49ers deserve some credit for getting themselves together enough to make the comeback but this is the second straight week where they didn't feel like the better team. I am really impressed by how resilient Purdy was after a rough first half, he was basically flawless and did make those crucial plays with his legs.

It’s crazy to think that one month after KC beat SF, our whole lives changed with the pandemic.
I also don’t get how KC are the villains here. It’s not like we’re buying our team. Rice, Pacheco, Kelce, Jones, Sneed, Mahomes. I mean look at where Sneed, Pacheco and Rice went to college. Meanwhile the 49ers went and got CMC and Chase Young to build a super team and people are forgetting about that and just sticking to Purdy being the “hero”.

Nobody in the world likes Jackson Mahomes though. Not even Chiefs fans. Shit I was watching Michael Porter Jr talk about a “Top 5 Light Skinned” list and said he couldn’t add Patty to the list because of Jackson alone. The dudes a rapist and the day he comes out of the closet is going to come as no surprise to anyone and make him an even bigger clown for thinking he was breaking news to the world.
As for Brittany, people need to stop hating these people’s wives/girlfriends so much. Everyone acts so high and mighty about women’s rights and protecting women but will throw shade immediately at a woman if it’s the cool thing to do.
