Romo said they got to a 2nd OT and I was "SF has the lead, why would they go 2OT? :lol:" What am I missing? Romo said it’s the first quarter of OT. It was pretty clear that they didn’t have to score before the quarter ended. Is that how it works now? Pretty sure they have to kick for 2OT.

gg Chiefs you stuck around and earned it. Pray to god Andy Reid stays on for another 5 years. I am by no means an expert, but I don't know that Reid coached the game great. They seemed to double down on a lot of things that weren't working and frequently left themselves at 3 and long. History will chalk it up as a win and many coaches never even get there once... So all credit to him. Reid relies on Mahones pulling something out of his ass, which often works but they were lucky that things fell the way they did with the pressure of the superbowl. Just over the first half was pretty boring. And though I am actually a Tay Tay fan, the camera panning to her constantly was weird and forced.

BUT….
After watching replays of it, man Tony Romo really needs to learn when to shut the fuck up. Imagine a game winning TD in OVERTIME in the fucking Super Bowl and the announcer is just yapping about nothing right after it. “This is the Andy Reid special. This is what I was talking about.” I mean nobody gives a fuck what you were talking about Tony Romo. The Chiefs just won the Super Bowl in epic fashion. Let’s make it about the game and not about you.

I’ve been spending a month talking up this defense while everyone was talking up Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson and Brock Purdy. 19 points given up in 2nd halves all postseason + 3 in overtime.
They said Mahomes wouldn’t do it without Cheetah. He did. They said he couldn’t do it again. This time they put out the 4th best defense EVER to help him and they did it.

Kid needs to focus. Quit it. Do I need to remind everyone what our defense does in the 2nd half of games? 10 total points given up in 3 playoff games in the second half. Our defense allowed an average of 7 points in the second half during the regular season. Just like last night with 3 seconds left down 2. You give the ball to Curry when it matters most and it’s NIGHT NIGHT. This game ends on a Mahomes to Kelce game winning TD with under a minute to go. Final score 20-17. NIGHT NIGHT!

Once we lost Week 1, everyone was like “uh oh losing Cheetah has caught up to them!” Then MVS drops a game winning TD against Philly and then it was “this team makes too many mistakes and it’s going to cost them!” Then we go into Buffalo and it was “Mahomes never had to do it on the road. This will get him! Bills Mafia is here!” Then we go into another road game and it’s “Baltimore is the most dominant and complete team in the NFL, the Chiefs are done!” Not to mention, we were underdogs in 3 straight playoff games in Vegas.
