Another thing: Since trading Tyreek Hill: - Drafted McDuffie - Drafted Sky Moore - Drafted Pacheco - Drafted Rashee Rice - 7-0 in the playoffs - 2 Super Bowls Also heard someone call this the equivalent of the Hershel Walker trade. Man I love this team. Except it’s not really like that at all because McDuffie is the only one who came directly from the trade, while Tyreek has continued to be an all pro.

Yeah it’s a win-win trade because the Chiefs hold onto their cap space, get a few extra picks, win two SB’s anyway, and the Dolphins are relevant because of Tyreek.
And those picks (or trades including those picks) directly led to Trent McDuffie and Rashee Rice (along with Skyy Moore that despite his flaws did score a SB touchdown last year). That really helps the case.

I just read a bunch of the victims are children, why would you shoot at them? I don't understand.
Love seeing Chiefs fans tackle the worthless scumbags in a video, hope those men are taking care of. Bunch of thugs bringing guns to a fucking parade. Saw one of the fuckers is some overweight fatfuck, if he put as much time and money into his body/well being as he did bringing guns to a fucking parade, we might have a productive person in life. Fat slob.

I never made a post about the game so here are a few things that have been stuck in my head the last couple of days.
You can't understate how much the 49ers were impacted by in game injuries. Obviously, Greenlaw going down was massive, it meant Burks had to play a lot more and he wasn't good - targeted 9 times in coverage allowing 9 catches including a touchdown. On offence, Kittle and Samuel were both surprisingly ineffective and it seems perfectly reasonable to put some of that down to them playing hurt. I haven't seen anyone else talk about this but I believe Kittle was injured on McCaffrey's opening drive fumble, he dove in to try and recover the ball and Karlaftis landed right on him. Deebo being limited to 33 yards on 11 targets was mostly down to McDuffie playing an A+ game, but he only had one catch post-hamstring injury. And the final one was Feliciano having to be replaced by Burford at right guard, who proceeded to botch the protection on their final play in OT, allowing Chris Jones unblocked when an extra second would have allowed Purdy to hit an open Aiyuk for a touchdown.
On the Chiefs side, obviously at this point it's stupid to say anything other than Mahomes is the best quarterback we've seen. Winning a championship with this group of skill players is so significant for his legacy. For all the superlatives that get thrown at him I think his athletic ability actually gets undersold, his scrambling is remarkable. He always finds a way to make a huge play with his legs at the most critical time, the big run in OT reminded me of the one he had on the final possession in last season's AFC Championship game.
Finally, I think this is the first and last time we'll see a team choose to receive the ball first in playoff overtime. I think the advantage of knowing if you are in four down territory on the second possession definitely trumps getting the third possession when it switches to sudden death.
Edit: ah fuck Blindy posted something weird while I was typing this, it will probably get buried now...

Feliciano has been all over the news lately too. Shit talking his teammate, apologizing, being shit talked by Jalen Carter, hitting back with his side of the story. Then Aiyuks brother yapping about paying him or he’s leaving. The whole world calling Shanahan a moron and choke artist. I think the 49ers are in a position going into next season where they could actually stand up and prove the haters wrong (like Mahomes) or completely crumble. I’ve always said their roster is filled with the most injury prone guys. Kittle, CMC, Decoy Deebo. It was only not surprising to me to see them all crumble to injuries at some point during the Super Bowl. I was thinking that this is the reason I don’t like drafting 49ers players in fantasy football.
I’m so happy my boys are locked in already for the 3peat. I think they figure something out with Chris Jones 100% for two reasons.
1- I think he is of more value to that team then Sneed. 2- 3Peat and I know he wants to be a part of it too.
I hope we keep both of them but that seems to be the two biggest questions. Of course Mahomes can do some restructuring to his contract and we get both, but I have more faith in finding someone to replace Sneed than I do to replace Chris Jones. We can NOT lose him.

Sorry seeing kids getting shot at triggered me, had to let one of em rants go. It’s not as much that, obviously kids getting shot is bad but weird that it’s just not a group of innocent people getting shot in general isn’t as much concerning. Also the fat thing was just a weird tangent. You do you though man.

Just think they will chalk this down as a mental health issue when the man(or men) could have used those resources used to cause harm to others and maybe change their perspective in life with a healthy mindset. But that isn't the easy way.

Initial reports from KCPD seem to lean towards it was a gang encounter. They’re just saying it started as a disagreement, but who is carrying that gun into a parade and just happens to get into a disagreement?

We will disagree there where people need to get a better and more positive mindset by taking care of their well being. I saw that earlier...I dont know if I buy it.You don't go shooting at 9 kids if this was gang violence, that's ridiculous. I read that one of the people pulled in had a role in that hotel bombing in Texas from a few months ago.

Yeah, there’s never been a physically fit shooter.
How about Nick Allegretti tearing his UCL early in the Super Bowl and staying in the lineup against the San Fran line? Holy cow.

Mike Caliendo is listed as the backup on the active roster. Can’t say I remember him playing. They would’ve also had Wanya Morris who got the LT snaps over Niang this year when they went to a backup.

I do think stuff like what happened at the parade is going to ruin it for everyone else though, the security has to be better and I assume this will be far more controlled. Crazy after what happened at the Boston Marathon years ago that there isn't a bare minimum metal detector entry way. Scumbags will find a way though like the Kenosha racist driver from a few years ago I guess.

For Shanahan - does any other former coordinator for a losing Super Bowl team keep that loss on their resume as harshly as he does? You’d think he was the coach and GM of that Falcons team the way he gets hit with the “0-3 in Super Bowls” talk. If the Titans make it to and lose the big game next year, will that coach be known as 0-2 in Super Bowls?
