That was one banger of a show. Two amazing matches that went 30 minutes.

Pretty good show tonight, given that it was very light on paper to begin with.

Fun show. Fun main event. AEW is on a run here as far as quality goes and I think they have finally put the back half of 2023 behind them and found their groove again. Loving this and really looking forward to Revolution.

Hanger apparently hurt his ankle in his flipout of the muscle buster. How bad it is not known.

Ok. I love Hangman more than anyone. But if this keeps him out of the Revolution match and they decide to call an audible and have Swerve go over Joe, I won't be mad.

But I want him to be ok. Hate seeing anyone get hurt.

Sadly given it is Hangman we will not likely know what is up until Tony updates. Dude is super private.

Hoping he just twisted it weird and could walk it off, but that looked like he broke it. He called a real fast audible to RVD.

Either way, it could be one of those 'happy accidents' where Hangman has a doctor's note and is this looming threat over Swerve.

I have a feeling the plan was to have Hangman throw the match to prevent Swerve from winning the title, and they might still do that even with Hangman injured. But then you have two guys with busted ankles fucking with people trying to beat Joe. Not a great idea.

I could see Swerve winning then dangling the title in front of Hangman knowing he can’t do anything about it. I’m liking Joe as champ but the window to strike on Swerve’s popularity is rapidly closing.

Fightful is reporting that the Hangman injury is a work.

Good for him working the fans and the journos again. I thought it was a little on the nose, especially since Hangman faking an injury plays into the story they're telling.

Damn smart work if it is true. Played perfectly.

And Dave wrong again if true.

Also works well for the evil stash version of Hangman.

Fucker so got me too, as if it is fine so happy for him not having to miss time. I do not want Hanger missing any time now as this angle is so fucking interesting from him. Cannot remember a heel turn as nuanced as this one is.

Saw the other reports, said Hanger was walking fine backstage and after the show.  And that he was just really good at his job.  Not be shocked if the leak was from AEW to let people know that he is ok, without having to make a statement he is ok.
