Hopefully it doesn't appear all huge. Do modern devices resize images? Anyway WHAT IS THAT? Feels like a sort of soda/pop situation. That's a shopping cart. There's a low level grunt position called cart pusher. Maybe it's a south thing, but I've heard them referred to as buggies. Sometimes even "basket". No! That's the thing you carry like a purse.
Even worse I think foreigners call them trolleys. What da hale?
In a future where everything is warehoused online and no customers inside buildings (for the most part) will these cease to exist? Even today when you see "ogp" workers they have specialty carts. I guess because they aren't casually shopping it's tough to organize in these bad boys. Then you have gig workers doing shopping for people. Always nice to let some random get comfortable with your house. Maybe it's the boomer in me, but I actually look forward to my weekly store run. As we move away from "stores" it scares me that will be going away. If not our lifetimes completely, certainly the next generation unless we hit a collapse.
So for real what do you call these?

Amen, brother @ness. It's a cart. Shopping Cart if you want to get technical. Had a terminology mix up with a customer back when I worked at a grocery store in the 2000s. Something to do with a "basket." Now you and I know a basket is the red thing with a handle that you carry like a purse, but this customer called a cart a basket and it caused all kinds of confusion.
As for pics, they all show up the same size on my now old iPhone that I've had since March 2017.

In New Zealand it is called a Trundler and that makes me more irrationally angry than it should.

Ness making us respond instead of creating a poll. Nice.
Definitely a shopping cart. Sometimes costing a dollar (temporarily) to rent.

As a former cart pusher I can assure you nobody in this thread does. I ALWAYS without fail return my cart, and I don't care about a potential dollar. On the rate occasion I eat in at a fast food place, I return my tray and put my rubbish in the bin. To do otherwise is to think yourself more important or better than the people who have to deal with your laziness. I could never do that.

As a former cart pusher I can assure you nobody in this thread does. I 99.98% of the time return my cart, not just to the cart stations in the parking lot, but actually inside to where I got it from. I judge people on the following things: how they treat others, if they use their turn signal and if they return their cart/trolley.

I put it back, not for the convenience of the people working in retail but to avoid some poor person coming out and finding a trolley has gone rogue and left a nasty dent in a car.
I had my new car for 2 weeks before walking out and finding a trolley rubbing against it. It has shit me ever since, given there is a minor mark left on the bumper.
