In other news, Julia Hart suffered a shoulder injury during the Rampage taping. No word on how bad but with her match against Willow less than 2 weeks away we might find out next week if it is still on or not.

When it rains it pours. She just got back from a long injury and has had a great run as TBS champ. I think she was going to lose to Willow anyway but still.

I imagine if Julia is hurt, then rapid swap to Mone to Willow for the title. Mone sitting out until Double or Nothing seemed stupid as it was.

Well I mean if Mone isn’t cleared there isn’t much they can do.

I don’t want Willow to squash Julia because that would be ridiculous after building her up so much.

If it ends up being serious and the match can’t happen, I would have Julia “bestow” the TBS title to Skye Blue. She has to defend it in her honour, but ends up losing.

Julia heals up and comes back gunning for the Women’s world title, Skye Blue gets dumped for failing and can go her own way, Willow goes on to face Mone.

Well, easy out is to have Willow turn heel and just beat Julia down before the match with a chain or something, then roll her in the ring and pin her. Before Double or Nothing need Willow to have the title and become a heel, so turning heel to win the title, gets both done at the same time. Julia takes a lame loss, but losing in a BS way means she was cheated out of the title. Also writes off her off TV to heal up and not have to travel.

Woah slow down partner. Why does Willow need to be a heel? For Mercedes? Willow has that rare trait in entertainment where she's just naturally likeable, it'd be a mistake to go against type especially when Mercedes seems much more comfortable in that heel role.

Mind you if they make an interim TBS Championship I swear to god... :lol:

Feels like they been seeding Willow's turn for a month now. But agree, it will not work as Willow is so damn lovable. She can be in the ring beating people with a chair viciously and fans will still cheer because it is Willow.  Hoping she is getting scouted by WWE.  Love her in AEW, but let's face it, with her charisma she could be massive in WWE.  Shocked Tony got her at all since she was loved in Booker's fed.

Yeah I assume some fuckery will be done to avoid an interim title if possible. Hopefully Julia can work enough to get a rollup, if not strip her.  Her reign worked, Julia is now a legit wrestler and does not need the title anyway.

Cause someone like Will Ospreay hasn't been doing that for twelve years? Cause Kazchika Okada has not been doing that for twenty years right? I'm sorry but having watched the clip, Triple H just comes off as bitter, because they chose to finally work smart instead of hard. Because, those two men have kids, and might actually want to be in their lives, instead of neglecting them and being on the road 300+ days instead? I'm sure people will tell me that that isn't the case, even though by default it kind of is. Being on the road, and making all that money means nothing if you aren't actually there raising them. After all, a great life and fancy things mean nothing, if the only thing they want is to have their parents around.

Ospreay made it clear he did not want to do WWE as the amount of dates would have meant he would need to move his family to the US. AEW right now allows him to still live in the UK.

And yeah, the two TV shows and two house shows a week ended with the brand split. But adding house shows does add a large burden to people's travels, and thus time away from home.

Those comments from Punk and Hunter, and even Pat maybe consumed 1% of their energy, yet 100% of AEW's has gone into replying to it.

Even if those comments from WWE were deliberate, AEW took the bait and made themselves look like right fools.

Still happy it aired so people can move on. I was done with Punk during his ECW run and am sick of hearing about him.  Ideally there is no reason to mention him ever again in AEW now.
