Hate the fact that she is going to get a title shot which defeats the purpose of these rankings TK wanted to honor. She'll probably get away with it by saying this was apart of the contract clause that she gets to challenge for any belt immediately I guess.

Best shows I ever seen, with the best match I ever seen. Cannot wait to see how people who did not watch it spin it into a horrible show tomorrow.

The moment we saw Swerve in the Black Panther inspired attire, and carrying Jimmy Rave's robe, we knew there was no way he was gonna lose.

DB broke out From Dusk Till Dawn too in his match which was amazing to see.

DB worked a lot of people tonight too with the selling of the Storm Driver 93. Seen a lot that assumed it was legit with the tribalists trashing AEW for the reckless style already.

Also wouldn't you know it, Jack Perry comes back to a massive reaction helping the Bucks win the title.  Almost like showing the tape had a reason.

Gonna be so many unhappy people tomorrow given the reaction of almost all wrestling reporters saying Bryan vs Will could be the best match to ever take place period.

We heard chants like "Please Retire," and "Go Home Jericho, Go Home."

Crowd was rough on him, but they need to read the room sometimes. Fans been saying for over a year they are tired of Jericho. It is only gonna get worse from here on out I imagine.

I’m home sick today. Watched the show and wow. I didn’t enjoy everything but the things I did I thoroughly enjoyed. Glad Swerve won!

Hated the scrum. It’s time to move on. AEW has a clear identity. It no longer needs to be “we aren’t WWE.”

Scrums are always hit or miss. They are miserable live when you cannot fast forward. Toni is always worth watching though in them as she is so fucking random.  Will was great during it selling the damage he did to Bryan.  And his comments about wanting to move past the WWE jabs were timely. 

Super happy Swerve won. Clearly means a lot to him as well. Do not think anyone works as hard on their ring style as that dude does. He really believes to excel you need to be able to do every style of wrestling well, and always be better in your next match than you were in the one prior. Not everything he does works in the ring, but can see he is actively trying to fuse all the different styles he does together too in creative ways.

Now he better be watching his back always as there is a shadow coming for him and that belt.  I am hoping the final dance between him and Hangman is an ironman at All In.  There is no better match they could do to headline the largest show of the year than one that worked so well three times in the past, and now is for the biggest stake yet.

Some fans showing their worst sides with Swerve as champ, but frankly, we do not need those fucks in our hobby.  Glad to see even people critical of AEW push back hard against this being a diversity thing in any way.  Strange argument to make given Joe was part of a smaller minority too.

Also curious if AEW makes St Louis a home, as that crowd was red hot all night long. Sure they absolutely shit on Jericho, but otherwise was one of the loudest crowds we seen in a long time. Was not a super large crowd but they make up for it with that raw energy.

Swerve has earned it. He’s over like crazy and is one of the top talents in AEW. Ridiculous to think otherwise.

There were chanting who's house during the pre-show loud enough it was a hard to hear Renee at one point. Not seen anything like that before.  He def was super over with that crowd last night.

Also IMO, Swerve vs most of the top guys are basically dream matches.  So he is the perfect guy to have as a champ who takes on all comers.

It’s the best AEW-style match I’ve seen.

I’m still more of a fan of the WWE-style though. For me, you just can’t beat Cody/Roman.
