There is an apparent trend in WWE PLEs having surprisingly small cards. Five matches is increasingly becoming the norm. Fair enough. All killer, no filler.
The King/Queen of the Ring tournaments have been fascinating to follow. I am certainly excited by Valkyria's ascent to the final with that awesome semifinal upset over Iyo Sky. The Smackdown semifinal could go either way but Bianca will certainly provide the more exciting final.
The King of the Ring could have gone in any number of interesting directions. Jey Uso vs Tama Tonga was perhaps the most obvious, but putting up Gunther against most likely Orton is fascinating.
Becky vs Liv has a fantastic build: Liv toook the golden opportunity she had with Rhea Ripley's untimely injury and ran with it. Her character is awesome to watch and I'm hoping WWE take this chance to give her the championship and all the power. Does Becky really need it?
They've tried to avoid making Bronson Reed a third wheel in the Sami Zayn/Chad Gable arc but it hasn't really worked. They're clearly stalling for the big Zayn/Gable battle at Summerslam, no doubt preceded by the implosion of the Alpha Academy.
Cody Rhodes vs Logan Paul, decent enough main event but feels like the least important match on the card.

I miss when the whole tournament was on the show. They haven't done that since Brock, but I still loved it. Hearing guys cut promos for the event feels so unnatural. At KING (and Queen) it's so silly. It's like a little brother saying MOM SEZ YOU GOTTA TAKE ME.
Saudi is really getting their money's worth though.
