Call me Maxx Payne, baby, because I am living in the State of Euphoria. Going on about 20 minutes of sleep and I've never had more energy in my life as I sit here wearing my MAGA shirt, hat, and what is surely a big stupid grin on my face. No exaggeration when I say this is one of the greatest days of my life. Been waiting 4 years for this and working at it a few days a week for the past 4 months as a volunteer in neighboring deep red Pennsylvania!!! Hell yeah! Yeah I had low expectations but man Sonny Hostin fucking blows. She never brings a good take at all. She was the one who said black WNBA players were the victims whenever there was an incident with Caitlin Clark this past season. I am all for shitty take makers like Skip Bayless or Nick Wright but this is next level trolling. I am convinced Behar wanted someone more over the top then her so she looks almost sane next to the crazy lady who is yelling about racism every 3 words. The token Republican chick got shutdown quickly, IDK why anyone would sign up to be that on the panel. Elizabeth Hasselback, McCain's daughter and I think someone else left within months. There's only so much punching you can take. Extreme left & right wing political figures always make my day, especially off an election. So 2 weeks ago Canada imposed a 25% tariff on all steel and aluminum out of China. I'm not opposed as I get why as a country you would in order to support local/North American production however, Uncle Exxon and other big Whigs like the higher profit margins Chinese steel/aluminum provides them and their share holders so I guess we'll see how this all shakes out. 25% is steep but might put JT back in Trumps' good graces again so he doesn't bend us over too badly.
EDIT: Just heard back form one of my steel distributors:
We have started ordering material from a Korean mill to avoid the tariff, but they increased their prices to account for it. So have mills in other countries.
The cost of aluminum flat rolled will be 25% higher on all orders that shipped from Chinese mills after October 15th.
I expect a lot of customers will try “snapping up” our on-hand lower cost material.
We have already started raising our prices on stock 5052 flat & 3003 tread.
This means any way you look at it, we're getting screwed. This is why tariffs should work but don't. Sigh.

Kamala has officially conceded and called Trump.
Per the senior Harris aide: "Vice President Harris called President-elect Trump to congratulate him on winning the 2024 presidential election.
"She discussed the importance of a peaceful transfer of power and being a president for all Americans."
Harris is expected to speak publicly for the first time since polls closed in a little more than two hours from now.

I have been on a plane the last 5hrs flicking through news channels.
I have a question for the Democrats here after a long preamble.
Today is saw the CNN anchors talk about the difference in women voting who were college educated vs not, the concept they were pushing us that uneducated people vote for Trump.
A few moments later they said they the Dems need to follow Bernie Sanders advice and get back to bread and butter politics. But they stresses that they can't drop the social agenda because it is so important.
People joke about wokeness being a mind virus, but maybe that is the issue that Universities are pumping out drones to push and agenda.
In all seriousness, what is the importance of the social agenda?
Why do we need more diversity?
Why do we need more equity?
Why is any system that afford someone power inherently wrong?
Seems like there is a focus on taking a flame thrower at everything that once made the West great, there seems no reason to do it apart from trying to atone for guilt.
I can't grasp why the woke agenda is so important, it's self immolation that provides no benefit to anyone.

That they can’t see that they have treated ordinary voters with sheer contempt since 2015 is so wild and surely so easy to fix. Agreed Is this the end of " Woke " ? One would hope. But I have my doubts. It's their brand at this point. Wouldn't surprise me if they doubled down, further alienating the voters they just lost. Since we’re on a wrestling forum, if you have a Reddit account, take a look at the AEW Official subreddit. The mods there have created and pinned a thread supporting Harris and telling everyone that doesn’t like it that they’ll be banned. A perfect microcosm of the Western left and why it continues to be rejected. This is precisely the sort of thing that infuriates me, and I'd imagine most people who aren't raging far left lunatics. This is how you get a Trump. While I don't agree with either, it's not like r/conservative doesn't do the same thing. You get banned over there without a flair. You could have the most milquetoast lib take and still get banned. It's not like the right are immune from getting in their feels about things, they're just a lot better at weaponizing it. I mean, I don’t see those two things as remotely comparable. One is providing a space for Conservatives to discuss their ideals on a ragingly left-wing platform. It makes sense to stop brigading in a designated conservative subreddit. A wrestling moderator banning people for their political views on a wrestling forum is absolutely mental. Beat me to it. Bad example rad It's an apples to oranges comparison.

Can't find it now, so this will be light on the details, but I saw a tweet where people making >$100k swung from Trump in 2020 to Kamala in 2024 while people making under $100k swung just as hard from Trump in 2020 to Harris in 2024. Bidenflation was a killer and party realignment is real. GOP under Trump has become the party of workers and Dems the bosses/professional managerial class. Wild transformation in just a few years.
