Today is saw the CNN anchors talk about the difference in women voting who were college educated vs not, the concept they were pushing us that uneducated people vote for Trump.

A few moments later they said they the Dems need to follow Bernie Sanders advice and get back to bread and butter politics. But they stresses that they can't drop the social agenda because it is so important.


People joke about wokeness being a mind virus, but maybe that is the issue that Universities are pumping out drones to push and agenda.
In all seriousness, what is the importance of the social agenda?

Why do we need more diversity?
Why do we need more equity?
Why is any system that afford someone power inherently wrong?

Seems like there is a focus on taking a flame thrower at everything that once made the West great, there seems no reason to do it apart from trying to atone for guilt.

I can't grasp why the woke agenda is so important, it's self immolation that provides no benefit to anyone.

I'm not saying the Democrats don't need to regroup and restructure (they do in Canada too) but, (and I say this with love and for debate purposes) you say the above as a white male who has benefitted from privileges you don't even know you benefitted from. You might not feel that way if you were someone from a diverse group who has come from a conquered people and is still in many ways treated that way thousands of years later. 

I lean left because it's not so much about being 'woke' than it is caring about your neighbors/society as a whole which I thought was a very Christian concept, yet you and other Christians speak about individualism over collectivism and back a man who stands for the same. It's baffling to me. 

And I don't think it's right to say that only uneducated people vote for Trump or the Right. That's insulting to everyone and not focusing on the real issues of why the Democrats lost all three levels.

I love the arrogance in some of The Left's voting messaging " anyone but Trump " when in reality a lot of voters likely voted with an " anyone but The Left " mentality instead.

I don't think it was Trump's particular type of charisma or personality or faith in his ability to do the job that likely turned some voters, it was likely due to many people being sick to death of a woke agenda forcing itself into every facet of life.

The fact women, African Americans and Latinos voted for Trump contradicts every statement The Left made about Trump and his apparent racism and misogyny.

Now, not everything Trump will do and say will be brilliant, or productive or even good. No politician is perfect and he's far from it, but I will put more stock in someone who seems to be focused on the greater good instead of continually being focused on the few, ie; DEI.

And that's why we are where we are in society - 15 years of manufactured victimhood and projecting oppression and blame and funnily it's not the most marginalised people in life who have been lifted up, or seen their lives improves by all this Left Wing ideology - if the internet is anything to go, it's like a plague of Andy Dicks have taken over the world and they've all been given social media to complain about their parents.

I just watched Kamala’s speech live on NBC. I heard what I thought was an echo from the microphone/her being outdoors, etc. I soon realized that what I was hearing was not an echo, but rather someone feeding the lines to Kamala through what I’m assuming was an earpiece. I LITERALLY SAID THE WORDS OUT LOUD TO MY MOM BEFORE KAMALA SPOKE THEM. She was wearing those same damn earrings that people were speculating were actually an earpiece during the debate. She definitely cheated during the debate with Trump.

I went back and watched the speech on Fox, and couldn’t hear the earpiece, so maybe it had something to do with NBC’s live feed that I was able to hear it. But I shit you not, I heard the words she was about to say before she spoke them. A female voice was feeding her lines through the earpiece and the audio was too loud, so it was spilling into her microphone.

And yeah, it’s Ant. Go ahead and ban me again. Just had to leave that here.

Needed soap. Went to Aldi's first. They were out so I went to Walmart. They keep soap behind a glass case now. Needed to find an employee with a key to get a simple pack of Dove soap. This took at least 10 minutes. We don't have to live this way. A better world is possible. Reason #2024 I voted for Trump. Reason #2025 would be the price of said soap.

Hedges asked Sanders why he didn't choose to not endorse Hillary in 2016 and run as an independent ... and think about all the momentum Sanders had. Sanders response was that he did not want to wind up like Ralph Nader. Keep in mind that Nader was denied simply attending the Bush-Gore debate, despite the fact that he had a ticket to be in attendance. He was turned away. Sanders knew he would be rendered a non-entity for going against the Party, so he shrunk from his moment in history.
