Alright I agree Deebo over Aiyuk for last season is no good, but someone pointed out that apparently the voting happened right after he had the 3 TD game against Philly so that makes a bit of sense.

Bland gets the INT's so that's probably why he got top CB vote. Reminds me of when Seahawk fans were adamantly saying Tariq(Or Riq) Woolen was superior to Sauce Gardner after their rookie seasons because he's a playmaker, they got real quiet in the sophomore years. Quickest pivot to Witherspoon in ages. Asaunte Samuel Sr even doubled down on this shit.

Aiyuk had a better season last year, he is clearly Purdy's favourite target. But I do think there has been an overcorrection on how how important Deebo is based on how he faded down the stretch. He's still an elite YAC guy.

Deebo as a weapon absolutely has value but as a receiver - Aiyuk is better. Can’t remember where I was listening to it but the scouts talking about Aiyuk being the only man beater in that offense was interesting and correct.

Deebo needs a Shanahan type where as Aiyuk can flourish anywhere. Route running translates to any offense.

The 49ers went 0-3 without Deebo last season. He is way more valuable than Aiyuk for the 49ers. Deebo is a threat running and receiving.

I think his value as a football player makes him a better than Aiyuk. I do not think Aiyuk could be a WR1 on any other team and make them better. He doesn’t make the Niners better when Deebo is out.

The 0-3 thing is nice for Deebo but it also coincided with Trent Williams being out. He's their real MVP.

Aiyuk not being a WR1 on other teams is an absurd claim considering he is the WR1 for the best offence in football. His counting stats would look a lot more impressive on other teams where he'd have less competition for targets. He was third in yards per route run last season, ahead of Jefferson, Lamb and Brown.

I guarantee when Aiyuk leaves the 49ers after this season, he’ll be the next Kenny Golloday.

He is nothing like Golladay who was a straight line ball winner , which is as about as volatile as you can get being a receiver.

Aiyuk wins with route running, which always translates. Your prediction would apply more to Deebo leaving than Aiyuk.
