This should be the lock for Hangman vs Swerve at All In.

Another million dollar gate. Sure we will hear tomorrow why that means AEW is dying.

Not much fanfare for Forbidden Door. It needs an injection of Emperor.
The Elite (Kazuchika Okada & The Young Bucks) vs. Scissor Ace (Hiroshi Tanahashi & The Acclaimed)
Honestly this is a "let's get these guys on the card" match with a thrown together reignition of the tiny spark that is Okada vs Tanahashi. The only notable moment was Okada dancing, otherwise it was generic, Okada pins Tanahashi, yay.
I was optimistic about Okada's presentation in AEW but recent months have shown that it is much more Okada being a goofy sidekick, a pawn to be used in the epic multi-man wars, than a world beater. Why isn't he defending his championship more?
Orange Bollocks vs. Zack Sabre, Jr.
One of the rare occasions I happily watch an Orange Bollocks match. And it delivered. Brilliant. Loved the finish too. Honestly, I enjoyed it so much I wouldn't even have minded so much if Orange won, but he tapped out, which is even better.
Bryan Danielson vs. Shingo Takagi
Unsurprisingly awesome. Both men on a tremendous late career roll.
TNT Championship - Ladder Match
Skipped most of the match but holy moly Takeshita is over. Perry was the favourite to win, and he won, but wow, imagine if Takeshita took down that championship.
Mercedes Mone vs. Stephanie Vaquer
The match fell victim multiple times to both ladies trying to do fancy shit and miscoordinating, which kinda ruined the match. Decent at best. Another result that is both predictable and unexciting. Their saving grace is the next match was an even worse example of the same errors.
Jon Moxley vs. Tetsuya Naito
The highest representation of NJPW on the card was a disaster. I felt embarrassed to be a NJPW fan watching that calamity. Naito and Moxley did not have no chemistry, they had negative chemistry. It was ugly to watch. And when it wasn't ugly, it was boring. The only good part was the start where we saw Naito's tranquilo bullshit in full force. At least the title is back where it belongs after a pretty lame Moxley run.
Both guys suffer from the same weakness of not being a ring general: they can have great matches against a ring general, but otherwise they are mediocre. Put them both together and you get what we just saw.
"Timeless" Toni Storm vs. Mina Shirakawa
Fun match, delivered the goods, can't complain. Like the aftermath too, one of the few moments that wasn't completely predictable.
Swerve Strickland vs. Will Ospreay
A fantastic main event, which isn't surprising in the least. Strickland is fairly new to the top of the card but it looks like he's been there for years. Awesome athleticism. Great use of the Ospreay/Callis tension to build to Ospreay's first defeat. Another advantage of the match was unpredictability: I could see either guy winning, but Swerve's victory is the right call.
Ospreay/MJF at Wembley, and Strickland versus...well, there are many options, but my favourite is Danielson.
