Oasis reunion latest: Liam and Noel Gallagher confirm 2025 tour with Manchester, London, and Dublin dates

Oasis, the biggest British band of the last 30 years, are finally reforming after brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher made peace

Oasis have announced their long-awaited reunion tour, 15 years after the infamous backstage bust-up between brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher.

The Manchester-formed group, one of the defining rock bands of the Nineties, split in 2009 after a fiery row in Paris and have not played together since.

In a highly anticipated message, the band announced a run of 14 shows in the UK and Ireland next summer.

“The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised,” the band said.

A lot can happen between the brothers in a year to make the reunion implode before it even begins, but I'm happy they've put their differences aside (for now). Great band. Wish I could go.

I feel like unless you are getting tickets for the first show, you might be taking a big risk.

Music industry expert Professor Jonathan Shalit OBE, chairman of talent agency InterTalent, told The Sun the reunion could easily rake in more than £400 million (A$778 million).

He said: “With tickets, sponsorship, merchandise and filming, I would predict an income for Noel and Liam of over £50 million (A$97 million) each.

Will need to hear them before I get excited since this is clearly a money grab move. Tons of cash in these 2000's era bands reuniting live, and Oasis was one of the bands people assumed just never would get back together. But sometimes when these guys come back the passion is gone.

I imagine they come back with passion, that 100 million is just the start for them. Liam singing Noel's songs is just magical. They have a truly timeless style.

I'd be very happy if they toured Oz.

I saw clips first and was like "hey cool he still sounds ok all things considered," then I saw the online comments and was giggling at all the 20-somethings who are already disappointed by something they knew nothing about in the first place. Fucking idiots.
