Why would I bother to waste my time next Sunday night against the Steelers in Pittsburgh?

It's one thing if the Jets shit the bed and have a terrible game but it's another when (both) teams are getting shafted with some attrocious calling.

This is like me as a kid finding out that Santa Claus isn't real. It has made me question everything I love about this game. I don't know what a pass interference is anymore. I don't know what a roughing the passer is. QB fumbles the ball and it's magically not.

I don't even know what to say, I am dumbfounded. Regardless if the jets comeback or not, like I am so stressed out and this game has me contemplating as a fan to just step back and take a break.

I am so glad Yanks are in the playoffs and Knicks are coming back and we're deep into college football and soon college basketball too. NY Liberty even giving you something too.

I am rock bottom with my enthusiasm with the team and I can just feel it last night. Sorry folks, that was a pure therapy session. Poor play by the team and the worst officiated game had me in a bad mood. Still not sure I tune in for the Steelers game next week but happy Rodgers gets Adams back. 

Jets letting Reddick seek a trade, hope Brad Holmes  can toss Douglas a 4th in 2025.

It’s way too early to give up on the Jets. They won 7 games last season with a terrible quarterback. They’re in a weak division, plus with 7 play off spots now you can get in the play-offs with 9-8.

Adams is old and injured, I like Rodgers trust with Adams but it's asking a lot for Adams to integrate himself to a new offense and suddenly perform.

I imagine NBC was begging Mark Davis to make the move, they need a way to sell this SNF game and Adams debut is going to be just that.

Getting Adams for a 4th, even if it turns into a second is a steal. I know his time in Oakland has left a lot to be desired but that’s been a place where receivers go to die. Randy Moss anyone? He was also washed in Oakland.

This not only gives another potential elite option but pushes Lazard into a much more comfortable #3 role and Williams into a jump ball specialist in the red zone where he seems to belong this year.

Don’t know that this turns the Jets into contenders by any means but it certainly gives them a punchers chance. Takes pressure off a young Wilson who was getting way too many targets.

Also as a bonus - he shouldn’t have to learn tbr offense or take time developing chemistry with the QB so he can play significant snaps off the bat if healthy.

Downing isn't calling everything in the Hackett offense, Downing doesn't have familiarity with Adams. Unless you're saying this is Rodgers running the offense.

I just hope Devante is motivated, I have seen enough of these headline stealing moves by the Jets weekly. Who cares about winning the Monday morning papers(or Tuesday in this case). I just wish Jets can develop talent, that 2022 class for example was so good and a big reason we felt optimistic about the team.

AB also left the Raiders and didn't do anything after that. Maybe attitude was his undoing but both Adams and Antonio Brown are similar talents so I still hope there's gas left in the tank for Adams. 

Speaking of Antonio Brown, AB is going to help voter registration and help spread the word of Donald Trump prior to the Jets/Steelers game this Sunday night KING KID.

Ultimately this was meant to please/help Rodgers and maybe motivate him to come back next year so if this is what it takes to do it, so be it. If he wants 45 year old Mercedes Lewis too so be it. 

I also know Maxx Crosby is loyal and loves everything Raiders but you can't tell me he would not love to come to Michigan and play for the Lions if given the chance to. Michigan born dude getting a chance to go onto a SB contender, Raiders are not going anywhere.

Downing is absolutely pulling from Hacketts offense. This is the NFL where they spend months installing an offense - Downing just doesn’t get the job and install his offense in a week. And a lot of what I’ve seen of the Jets it seems very Rodgers calling games at the line - that offense is almost identical to what the first year of LaFleur being in before he implemented more of his touch in the offense. So yeah Davante knows this offense and most importantly - knows the timing of the back shoulder throws which Rodgers loves.

My prediction of the Jets losing in the AFC Championship game are looking good.

I think Jets probably want to deal Williams and his 1 year salary to fit Reddick in if he is willing to play rest of year out.
