Very close and that's actually a solid idea.

Taker is most definitely the Night King. Sting is more akin to Bran/Jon Snow, able to greensee and to skinchange into a crow. He and Taker are also intrinsically linked to one another.

CM Punk is much closer to the Faith Militant with the "Seventh City Saints", setting Lakefront (Chicago) on fire before the story to build a new city (Seventh City) in the image of the seven where strict old laws and customs are enforced.

It's not a scene-by-scene, detail-by-detail retelling of ASOIAF though and follows its own timeline. The continent of Wrestleros resembles America more than the actual Westeros (modeled after the old NWA Territories).

Vince = Mad King Aerys/Joffrey
HHH = Euron
Bret Hart = Ned Stark
Stephanie = Cersei
Shane = Jaime
Heyman = Varys
Lesnar = The Mountain

Nightswatch = Jobswatch (J.O.B. Squad + other random jobbers)

Etc., etc.

Not going to spoil who Tyrion is, I'm sure that's fairly easy to figure out.

Banners reading "APPLAUSE" are then raised high enough for the audience to read and respond accordingly.

Gene: "As always, these brave men you see before you have sworn an oath to put their lives on the line for both your enjoyment and the chance to call themselves the one true champion of the world! M'ladies and noblemen, please give another round of applause for these true warriors of the squared circle!"

Once more, the banners were lifted and the audience reciprocated the soft demand.

Gene: "Thank you all, you may now take your seats as we are nearly ready to begin the night's festivities! But first, for the uninitiated among us, you must know that we have but one rule here in the Slam of Thrones, that being… there are no rules. When you play the game, you either win… or you die. MAY THE GLORY BE YOURS AND YOURS TO KEEP!!!"

I'm working on a new project. Hope to have something posted within the next few days. This is an idea I've only had for about a week. Originally I intended to hold off on it until the next draft. But nah. It's just too good. I have to do this. Now. It has the potential to surpass even my beloved NGW, both in greatness and in "weirdness." This project is going to be completely different than anything I've ever done before. As far as I know, it will also be unique in the annals of PW fan fic. I want to drop all sorts of hints. But nah. Again. This is an above top secret hush hush operation. Stay tuned....

Finding a good map customization app is impossible, but luckily I can draw. Currently designing a map for the Wrestleros continent so I've taken just a slight break from writing. Chapter 3 is almost finished & 4 is partially written out, I'll probably get them both finished in the next couple days.

When NXT kicks off this evening live on FS1 it will be emanating from the historic 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, PA. This move was seen as a huge statement of intent for NXT in taking its show on the road at least once a month to smaller, rabid wrestling audiences around the country. While the show will be live at 9|8c the fans in attendance will be treated to more matches than will be broadcast as well as the taping of 205 Live. The hope is that moving 205 Live tapings to smaller venues with NXT will help improve the atmosphere of the shows which will better the overall presentation. NXT will be live from Full Sail the weeks it isn't on the road with the next venue being the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City.

Bare with me on Chapter 4 -- people from Dudleyville are supposed to be very different from the rest of Wrestleros (just like ECW) and so they have a weird way of speaking and acting. Some may find the wordage hard to get past. Heyman doesn't always talk like this since he's not native to that area; it's more of an exaggeration to get under Shane's skin.

I finally have the first book almost fully summarized, with the overarching arc just marking key plot points. Currently writing whenever I have the time to. Expect Chapter 5 to be up soon.

Coming this fall 

Big thanks to KING KID for boosting my confidence with this project, to Baker, PI and King and the rest of you as well for following so far. I intend to read some projects here soon so I can return the love. Writing a chapter or a part of a chapter has become one of the highlights of my day.

Will try and write my Takeovers in full though if I can.

Is Cameron Grimes Trevor Lee?

He is. Has just started appearing in NXT and is in the finals of a breakout tournament they're running at the minute.

Trevor Lee/Cameron Grimes is going to be tearing it up this time next year. I didn’t know a lot about him before NXT but he looks good.

Once The UE and Gargano and Dream are all called up permanently, we’re going to see Riddle and Grimes and KUSHIDA and Keith Lee all emerge and I can’t wait.

Cris Cyborg, Jeff Cobb, Hideki Suzuki, Jonathan Gresham, Davey Boy Smith, Jr., and Allisyn Kay. Allisyn Kay is the former Sienna with TNA/Impact, the current NWA Women's champion, and she will be competing in Josh Barnett's Bloodsport 2 in September. Hideki Suzuki is a catch-style Japanese independent wrestler trained by Billy Goddamn Robinson.
