You’ve almost had a full year to come to terms with this match up, why waste so much energy on it? He literally just told you in that post you quoted. I'm no huge Braun fan, but at least people are interested in him, he's fresh and interesting. No one has ever wanted Reigns there, and yet they are forcing it for a FOURTH consecutive year. Not even Cena had that many consecutive Mania main events. Cena got boo’d out of buildings for years, know people change their tune and call him one of the greats. So you can’t blame WWE for not listening to the fans on this. It doesn’t make sense to get upset over it, when we all knew the result. Everyone complaining is going to watch Mania anyway, WWE do not care.

If the result for WrestleMania is set in stone, it better damn well NOT close the show. Otherwise, mouths will be salty and bitter by the fade out.
Personally, I want AJ/Shin closing the show. Besides, SmackDown deserves a chance to close a co-branded show with one of their matches. And this is a big money match.

Strowman likes to destroy everyone. Not just heels. Not just faces. What else would you call him? He's a tweeners. People just like him. Yeah and you're in the camp Stone Cold was a tweener too huh. Stone Cold wasn't a tweener in my opinion, but that wasn't really due to his character or even the crowd cheering for him, but more how he was booked. While he was all DTA and would happily stun a face or a heel, he was placed opposite the big heel of the company and always had the odds stacked against for him to overcome. He was an anti-hero face and they were clever enough with how his character was handled to achieve that. When he helped Mankind to win the title, that was done to fuck over Vince. It wasn't like he hung around to celebrate with Foley. The most overtly face act he ever did was saving Stephanie during the dark wedding. It was the daughter of his arch-enemy, yet he did it because it was the right thing to do, but still kept within his character by looking uncomfortable as a relieved Stephanie hugged him. I haven't really been watching, so I can't comment on Braun at the current time. But even if he likes destroying everyone, that doesn't necessarily make him a tweener. And just because the crowd cheers for him, that doesn't necessarily make him a face. You can be a hated face and a loved heel. How is Strowman booked?

Well, I'm looking forward to Lesnar/Reigns II.
As much as fans wanted Bryan/Lesnar at Wrestlemania XXXI, Reigns/Lesnar proved to be a classic and while the WWE has wasted a lot of time getting back to it, Lesnar's work this past year has been some of his best. Similarly, Reigns has improved a lot since that match and if he brings his A-game, this could be a Wrestlemania main event for the ages.
With that said, I'm not sure if this was the right lay-out moving forward. As much as they wanted to protect Braun Strowman, I feel denying him victory after he did all the heavy lifting takes away from Roman's victory. Since they placed so much emphasis on Braun, it almost feels like we the audience had been deceived. When it's a surprise, deception can be great but we knew Reigns was going to win and that's without Dave Meltzer reminding us every so often. It was obvious by watching the television and keeping track of everything that Reigns was going to go over. So if they laid the match out where multiple people got to shine and say we saw The Shield eliminate Strowman fairly early on in the piece and for it to come down to Rollins & Reigns, it would have been more appropos.
However, that's just me arm-chair booking in the comfort of my room. Obviously they wanted to keep Braun strong going into Wrestlemania and they'll rebuild him for a big rematch down the line. It's just a matter of where they're going. One of the rumours doing the rounds is that he'll likely face off against The Miz. As much as I enjoy The Miz in his role, I don't think the timing would work out. The Miz still needs to be portrayed as somebody worthy of being beaten and the IC Championship would be a burden on a guy like Strowman. Same could be said of most of his EC opponents except for Rollins or Cena. Rollins would work well if they wanted to go straight to a Reigns-Strowman feud since Rollins is Reigns' accomplice. Then you've got Cena who is still the franchise and a win over him at Wrestlemania can be treated as a big deal, especially if it's a dominant victory.

I was laughing at the end of the men's EC match. They chose the exact booking of that match to get the most heat on Reigns as possible. Have Strowman murder everyone, then Reigns is the only one to survive and pins Strowman convincingly. That said, while Reigns was getting booed in the lead up to the finish, he didn't receive an overly negative reaction when he won. I'm indifferent to the booking, but the way Reigns outmaneuvred Strowman at the end was really well done. Strowman is an overwhelming goliath but even he is capable of getting tired and sluggish, and Reigns took full advantage. Like Big Pete, I'm looking forward to Reigns/Lesnar II as the first match was fantastic. Strowman/Lesnar displayed poor chemistry in their first singles match, so it's risky to have them headline Mania when Reigns and Lesnar have proven they can work a great main event.
The men's EC match was very slow at first, but still pretty interesting. It certainly picked up when Strowman entered, and from then it was a really fun ride to the end. The women's match was better overall, but both chamber matches were very good.

I thought that was a weak match, and I was personally disappointed with Braun’s performance. He looked lost out there and seemed to channel his inner Kevin Nash (do as little as possible at all times).
The booking was exactly as I thought they’d go: Braun dominate and Roman beat the monster clean.
Seth seems to have momentum for the first time in two years ... I would have considered giving him the win to be honest.

It wasn't a huge deal, but numerous times I was thinking why Strowman wasn't picking these guys up, slamming then, and pinning them one by one. Instead he just stood there wondering what to do.

The only reason Roman is going over Braun is because he has a face for mainstream media, and Braun doesn't. And that's it. Only if you're superficial and shallow. I love Braun's beard.
