Completely finished with my entry. That was a good time. I feel like a sleeping fan fic monster has been awakened inside me. It's basically 3 different parts, first part is just the card laid out with all the matchups for anybody without the time or the will to read the whole post being able to quickly see what I've got going on. Scroll down and you get a 10 page description of the build up to the show, scroll down beyond that and I've give you the results for all 4 episodes of Best Of The Best: The Pride for those interested in the build up but uninterested in reading through a mountain of text(I put in a few pics/gifs to break it up!). The Pride is the weekly shows that build up to my big show "Best Of The Best 1: The Beginning".

Also included links to THE SIX SCROLLS, which are my posts in this thread giving you the backstory of how this all came to be, a lot of priceless information here that was lost when the Library of Alexandria was destroyed. A lot of this backstory was not meant to be taken very seriously, just felt like throwing in some Carl Sagan/Graham Hancock/Eternal Champions shit in there just to have fun with it. I'll have to play around with my roster a bit tonight to find a card that I have faith in. There's a lot of names that should match well enough, and all from different eras too. I'll have my card in sometime tonight. 🤯

Got my card in. Didn't have time to do the write-ups I'd have liked but I actually really like my card. It won't be to everyone's tastes and unless I get a lucky draw, I don't see me getting past round two - but it's a card I'd love to watch and would even like to write. (In that make believe world where I have time to write out full length wrestling cards).

Apologies if this was explained already but the first round do you want just the card for just 1 event or a few weeks of events that builds up a story consisting of the draft picks we choose to perform?

Also I am assuming that we can name Championships whatever we want?

I know they are such newbie questions but I don't want to do too much or too little when posting my card.

You just do one card and you have to name your championships after 🤯

Just stick to one card for simplicity's sake. But feel free to reference "past" cards or matches in your buildup that might've taken place previously in your universe. If it helps, voters often will vote based on which card they'd pay to go see if they were both happening on the same night.

You can go whatever you want as far as tiles.

Cheers for the advice my friend, I am feeling out of my depth now I am making a start on the thing. I am not saying that I'm giving up or anything like that but it is a tough game once you get going.

I will be happy to get a few votes in whoever is my opponent, Am considering this first one a learning curve.

My roster though is decent and one I'm happy with.

Right back to planning segment 1!

My first entry has been PM'd. It's really long, I've basically been working on it since around the 9th or 10th round of picks once I got my main guys locked in.

Just a tip for 🤯 when you go to post it, make sure the reply box is in "BBC Code" mode and not in "Preview Mode". If you paste all that into the box in Preview Mode it will mess up some of the coding and add extra spacing between everything when you hit the post button. Let me know if you need any help posting matchups I've got the coding here on this forum pretty well figured out.

I typed mine up in my email.  Copy and pasted it in a massage to PI and it turned out double and tripled spaced.  So I deleted all the extra spacing.  I still have not really figured the spoiler out.

Shin is one of the guys I didn't want to get put up against, my card is nothing special in the pizzazz or write-up department, i've pretty much gone all in on a gimmick.

What is it exactly you are trying to do with spoilers? Sometimes spoilers get all jacked up if you have coding going into/coming out of it, for example if you have a section of centered or bolded text you have to end the code([/center] or [/b] for example) before the spoiler coding, then you will have to wrap the code around that stuff separately within the spoiler. It's hard for me to explain. You can PM your card to me and tell me how you want it and I'll try to code it up for you if you'd like bubba.

Mainly wanted to put my write up in a spoiler so it does not take up a lot of room. It really is not all that long.  It should be ok.
