I don't know how well what i'm going to do will go over or if it's already too obvious but i'm glad that for once, i'm not throwing shit at a wall or just picking favourites.

The Dazz, just up clarify, when are missed picks up be made up? When you make your final draft, or after the entire draft is completed?

I assume after the entire draft is completed.

Is it just first-come/first-served then, or do make-up picks go in the order that they were missed? i.e. RT/PI Round 5, Shootist Round 7, RT/PI Round 9-11, pduh Round 12, RT/PI Round 12-14, Shootist Round 15-16?

After the entire draft is finished is when made picks will be made.


I feel like it would be more fair if it goes in the order as you put it. That way, you don't get to make a bunch of picks at one.

Coming to the fan fic draft tournament...

The multiverse... an endless infinite collection of universes, each consisting of a collection of galaxies, each galaxy being the home to various solar systems, each solar system a home to planets and stars. The multiverse was once heavily populated by the human species but one by one the fire of the human spirit was extinguished across the vast collection of galaxies. Deep within the multiverse within a spiral arm of the Milky Way galaxy was a hidden planet that would eventually become the last holdout for the human race, Earth. The human race survived 4 different extinction level events on Earth before a mysterious 5th event nearly wiped out all life on Earth 66 million years ago, including a mighty ancient civilization known as the "Keepers of the Flame". The Keepers of the Flame were cast down into the depths of the oceans along with the Atlanteans after the 5th extinction. The records of the Keepers existence was lost forever when the Library of Alexandria was destroyed in more recent ancient times. The balance was disturbed and the fire was nearly extinguished along with any hope for the human race. 

The spirits of the multiverse created Best Of The Best as one last chance to possibly save humanity and restore the balance that was lost after the 5th extinction on Earth. An Eternal Championship Council was created within the spirit realm to choose 20 unique personalities for Best Of The Best, each chosen from specific moments in time and brought to the timeless realm of Best Of The Best to live and compete against one another for one full year. Through the human drama and fierce competition the fire of the human spirit will be restored. 

The Eternal Championship Council made the decision to choose 2 competitors from an alternate timeline, a fan fiction realm. The Council chose 2 of the strongest of the strong taken directly from the 3 time PW Fed Of The Year award winning ECW: The 2001 Buyout/ECW: The 2002 (R)Evolution alternate reality universe.... BUSHIDO.... 

Bushido was the name given to Hayabusa and Jinsei Shinzaki in the alternate reality from which they were taken from. In this alternate reality Bushido were taken from the night of May 5th 2002 as they were set to dominate at the ECW Hardcore Heaven 2002 event. In this moment Bushido were one of the most dynamic and dominant tag teams in all of fan fictional wrestling. In reality Shinzaki and Hayabusa were a strong tag team from the wildly violent world of Japan's FMW promotion where they were veterans of some of the most violent and gruesome wrestling matches of all time. In the fan fiction alternate universe Bushido thrived as Hayabusa's broken neck that left him wheel chair bound for the rest of his life never happened. Another tag team that was chosen by the Council is revealed to be the team of Perry Saturn and John Kronus.... The Eliminators.... 

The Eliminators were taken from a moment frozen in time on the night of February 1st 1997 where they were set to defend their ECW World Tag Team Championship titles against the duo of Rob Van Dam and Sabu at the ECW Crossing The Line Again event. In this moment The Eliminators had reached their apex as the supreme tag team in all of professional wrestling. Another tag team chosen by the council holds the record for most ECW World Tag Team Title reigns, the duo of Bubba and D-Von, The Dudley Boys... 

The Dudley Boys were taken from a moment frozen in time on the night of April 1st 2001 as they were set to defend their WWF World Tag Team titles in a legendary TLC Match against The Hardy Boyz and Edge & Christian at the WWF Wrestlemania X-7 event in the Houston Astrodome. The Dudley Boys dominated ECW with a record setting 8 World Tag Team title reigns and had found success in the WWF over the span of their first year in the federation, leaving a trail of broken bodies and broken tables in their wake. The Dudley Boys will find themselves neck deep in a fiercely competitive tag team division within Best Of The Best! The Eternal Championship Council's decision is final! The fate of humanity is on the line! It all starts live in the Astrodome in Houston Texas with BEST OF THE BEST 1: THE BEGINNING!!!

So just so I'm clear - if we draft someone is it necessary that we use them? I need to know before my final pick....

It's not something I've ever seen specified but I would hope that you would have the option, maybe you want to do an injury angle or something, especially with 20 wrestlers to work with and 2 steals coming in after each round, I think it would only be fair to be able to reserve certain wrestlers from round to round and not be forced to use everybody on a card. 

I just drafted so we can get this over with. I wanted Elizabeth but didn't want to use her this round so I can at least do SOMETHING with Lanny.

If you're feeling ballsy enough, you could bench 18 people and go with a card featuring only one singles match. I think the spirit of this inaugural draft was to be pretty open-ended, easy, fun, simple, etc.

I haven't quite figured it out yet, that one I used in the draft thread was the first time I used it here. The way it worked for me was to copy and paste it into the box that comes up when you click the spoiler button.

That I don't feel comfortable making the call on, at least not since entering the draft. I'd prefer The Dazz to weigh in.

My thought would be to treat it like a missed pick and maybe make the swap in the missed picks drafting rounds if Elizabeth goes undrafted. But then does that open a can of worms? I feel like everyone should be entitled to swap out picks then, and it could become a mess.

Maybe consensus should rule here?

As excited as I was to finally see the Genius get drafted in one of these things, I'm personally ok with you swapping him for Elizabeth. What say The Dazz, what say others?

It's fine either way , I just drafted Poffo because I knew if the rule was different and we had to use everyone I could squeeze him into a card where I couldn't with Elizabeth.

I didn't want to put the draft on hold either for my 20th pick of the draft , especially since we were nearing the end and people have make up picks. Whatever will be , will be but I will say that if anyone takes Elizabeth they would do so because they are a douche , she has little value independent of Macho Man and my roster.

Or if we can use people not on other rosters (not in matches) like people were talking about earlier , I can just go that route as well.

It's different than the norm for me , I mean formatting is generally the same but I don't normally go with concepts. It's just something I noticed after like 6 or 7 picks and decided to run with it.
