Well, season is over, and teams who haven't made the playoffs this is the off-season thread.

Already Knicks didn't waste any time to fired their head coach JH already. Mark Jackson's name have written all over the next Knicks head coach I could also see them go after David Fizdale, Adrian Griffin, David Blatt, maybe some college coach.

I'm hoping for the Bulls get lucky and win the lottery for the NBA draft(the lottery is next month.), or at least the top three but right now on paper they will have the #7th overall pick, and fuck you Pelicans for making the playoffs. :suspic:

Well, couple coaches got the axe Orlando fired Frank Vogel, and the Hornets fired Steve Clifford who I think did all he could do to work on the roster that he has over the years but I guess it's time to move on run its course I guess. Could see the Hornets going after Frank Vogel while I could see Orlando targeting the assistance coaches in the league, and maybe some coaches with experiences such as Mark Jackson, Steve Clifford, and etc.

I see the Suns permissions were granted to interview Hawks head coach Mike Budenholzer which I am surprise the Hawks granted their permission he is a good head coach.

Mike Budenholzer will be the next Bucks head coach good hire from the Bucks, and I Think Mike Budenholzer make the right decision to choose the Bucks over theRaptors and other vacancy.

I really hope Dwayne Casey wins coach of the year at the Awards. I always liked him and I'm bitter about his firing.

I get why they did it, but I'm still bitter. I really don't think coaching was the problem, I just don't think the Raptors are a team that can stop LeBron James, plain and simple.

That still falls on coaching , you can't get embarrassed like that. Looking at the Celtics can show was coaching can do , they aren't stopping LeBron but are still winning the games. There's really no excuse not beating much less getting embarrassed by this Cav's team and Casey failed as much as anyone at his job. 

How does that fall on coaching? The first two games were close, Lowry carried the team on his back in game 3, then the blowout in game 4 was the team just giving up. At a certain point you just have to admit your team isn't good enough.

I think its due for the Raptors make changes for the coaching staffs but I also think they need to make changes on the roster which is more important.

I think Bobby Webster is going to trade DeMar. Can't think of where at the moment but I do think that's going to happen.

Now on the Portland side of things, I think there's gonna be a trade there too. Either Damian Lillard or CJ McCollum goes.

I'm pretty excited that Damon Fizdale is the new Knicks head coach. I'm hopeful he'll turn things around.

I think the whole basketball community saw this coming.  He wanted to play, even though the Spurs staff wouldn't let him.  Leonard felt he was mistreated, and from there, there was no doubt that his future in the league didn't include San Antonio.

The Hornets have traded Dwight Howard to the Brooklyn Nets. The Hornets get Mozgov men some future second round picks.

Meh. Chris Wallace is pretty bad in Memphis too. This trade certainly doesn’t move the needle much for MJ one way or the other.

Nah, it is only Warriors if Boogie can play. Houston lost Ariza and Lakers are maybe 5th seed with Lebron. If Lakers get Kawhi it is a different story. 

Boogie a really strange fit in Golden State... but if he can play after the Achilles either they’ll make use of him or trade him if he doesn’t go along with the group.

The Pacers made an underrated signing by grabbing styrene Evans. He’ll be a great addition to that squad.

Also, I really like the Wilson Chandler trade to Philly. The process continues with that trade and the resigning of JJ Reddick.

Tony Parker going to the Hornets feels so random.

The Bulls officially sign Jabari Parker for a two years deal for $40 mil but the second year is a team option so I am good with that for a 2nd year non gurantee. But may the defense for both wings is going to be bad but I will say this signing is a risk but very intriguing.
