Browsed some other fantasy booking forums and found one where a group of posters drafted a 1985 roster, implemented a territory system and then each one wrote out summarized shows for the individual promotions involved, including trades and free agent pool. Impressive stuff.
I wish we would have thought of something like this back when the boards were more active. I know we had the FF drafts but this was like that on steroids.
Honestly wish fantasy booking was more popular in general, really. :/

They would each put out a card every week, and people would vote for their top 3. Everyone who placed won things like more written contracts etc.

I'm not sure if that's the exact one I'm thinking of, but it's called "Project 19", so if you scroll through the main sub you're bound to find the correlating feds taglined. If you scroll through the sub-subs there appear to be similar projects. I would be very down to do something like this if we had enough people..... ... and more Final Fantasy drafts.... and wayyyy more punch and pie. Happy new years, everyone. I always either get to IX and struggle to imagine a world where Hogan actually lets The Hitman beat him clean, or skip ahead to X-8 like a kid in an InVasion angle candy store and somewhere along the line lose focus altogether. I occasionally browse the board rad linked to but never bothered checking out their fanfic stuff before. I would definitely be down for something like that on PW. I’m going to post something in the random thread once I finish up all my other projects. If it’s fun and/or gets over I’ll make a thing out of it.

Rad fucked up. Instead of linking us to this other board he coulda been like, hey guys I got this great idea for the next draft... Dammit... I dropped the ball hard on that one. But since you've already mentioned it - this would be a great idea for the next draft. So I won't be able to attend Dynamite later this month as the tickets were too expensive, butttt... A friend of mine knows Sami Calihan personally so I'll be going to see him and some other indie workers at Pro Wrestling Revolver next month and most likely will get to meet the Death Machine himself. Pretty stoked right now. I'll try my best to get a selfie for proof since I can already hear the "pics or didnt happen" from miles away.

You know how I know it’s almost Mania season?
Last night I dreamed I went to Mania backstage with my company’s CEO, and we watched The Undertaker entrance from Gorilla. Taker walked through the crowd in just his gear (no entrance attire), and then grabbed a guitar from a fan and strummed like Elias halfway down to the ring.
He was also wrestling The Miz.

Just been trying to get my life off the ground. We had a family business, but it didn’t get off the ground and we couldn’t afford to pay rent, so we shut down. Job hunting has been a real pain, for my whole family really. My Dad has had some health issues, my brother is now a certified lawyer but finding a job has been hard for him right now, and I just don’t have the experience for so many jobs. And I really don’t want to go back to working at restaurants. So I’ve been trying to find a job where I can maybe move up or get experience and move on, and hopefully just make a life out of it, because at this point I don’t think school is gonna work out for me.
On top of that, I’ve had my own health issues, but I also am a complete hypochondriac. So I’ve been having these bad pains in my head, my leg, my pelvis, and groin, but getting checked by doctors has shown me to be fine, but I can’t seem to get it out of my head that I have something wrong with me and it’s driving me wild as of late.

Welcome to adulthood The Dazz. You’ll figure it out. Just keep grinding and keep your head up. I can’t lie and say that it gets easier but you start learning how life works. There are good days and good weeks and those could always be accompanied by bad days and bad weeks. Just keep rolling with the punches like you said and you’ll figure it out.
