The way the video began is so misleading, makes it look like a normal barricade and then it zooms out. OMG~

So I just got home from Sami Callihan's Wrestling Revolver: St. Valentine's Day Massacre show and, well... Holy shit!
Going to write a review for the whole show in the random thread later and post what little video I managed to get, but yeah...what an awesome experience.
Show's available on Fite TV; Edwards vs. Elgin was taped for Impact. I'm sure I'll be clearly visible on the last two matches: redhead with the manbun standing next to front row area (and don't you dare judge my manbun)
A preview: -For some reason there was a "SUCK HIS DICK!!!" chant. -I got to see CIMA & Stonehearts wrestle in person. Those fucking chops... Ouch. -Nick Fuckin' Gage in a BYOW match. 'Nuff said. -Got to smoke a blunt with a certain unnamed champion from Impact (not RVD, I fucking wish) before I left.

Tool made an exemption for their no phones policy for last song, so took advantage of very rare opportunity. (Maynard is in the back right corner for those wondering..he switched sides between songs)

Just found I have to move house, I only rent so it’s to be expected but timing sucks as I’m on annual leave next week and location was great.

Glad to hear it. Humble as shit. I called his first match back in 2017. Bullshitted with him when he was training, and I had no idea he played at Iowa until someone else told me. He's got work ethic for days and he's a natural hoss. I expect big things from him.

I’ve seen him in the area a few times.

We put my dog down tonight. Fucking heartbroken. Crash!? What happened, just age? I remember when you got him. Fuck that's tough. I'm so sorry man. I feel your heartbreak. Pets should outlive us all with nothing but the best lives. It's the least they deserve for the unconditional love they give for their whole lives. R.i.p. Crash, the baddest-ass dachshund to ever wag a tail.

Crash, the baddest-ass dachshund to ever wag a tail. He had significant back surgery two years ago, but he never fully bounced back. Last week he hurt his neck again, and there was just no chance of a recovery with any degree of quality of life. So we had to make the hardest decision. Crash was the fucking best.

Wow. First time on in 18 months.
My, God. Thank you. Thank you very much. I'm almost embarrassed by the response. I have gone through the worst 18 months of my life. I have absconded from the IWC mostly. But now, amidst all we’re going through in the world, I find myself reverting back to a phase of my life where I felt most comfortable, and where I felt that I could shine. I’ve thought about this place a lot over the last 18 months. And to log on today for the first time since October 2018 and see PMs and mentions and all this stuff, to see that I’ve still been held in such regard by so many of you (PI, you are the man by the way, and I love ya brother)...it just means the world to me.
To know I have spent 19 years trying to make you all, anyone who’s read my reviews or BTBs, to make you all happy on any given night of your life, it was worth every damn minute of it!
Now, someone told me that PW Forums were having a party tonight! Could that be true, that the most elite forum, that some once said was dead, is alive and well?!?
To the naysayers of professional wrestling, and more so, the naysayers of creative writing, and even more so, the naysayers of Pro Wrestling Forums...Is this what you call a “moment”?!
That's wrong, because, this is real! This is not bought and paid for! It's a real life situation! Just like the night I let members of a former forum I belonged too look down on my work here at PW, tell me it wasn’t worth it, my time had past...I look myself in the mirror the next day, and I saw a pathetic figure that gave up and quit. And for that, I owe you, my colleagues... I owe you guys ... an apology.
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
AND NOW, WE *RETURN* TO SCHOOL!
———————————
Couple of beers deep watching the Horsemen reunion on the Network. Going off on my wrestling burner account on Twitter. And I missed this place. Obviously some of the above was fixed to fit the promo, and I know I’m not the best, I’m far from it, but to come back and see the love I still got in my 18 months gone warms my heart to no end.
I have just gotten out of the worst 18 months in my entire life and now coronavirus is here. You mix that with me wanting to get back to my TRUE passion, my god, I can think of NO PLACE better.
I will always love TRT. I will always love BQ. But PWF...is home. And there’s no place like it.
There may be brief periods of silence, but from here on out...I am back.
Enough of the overdramatics. Let’s get back to work. Time to dig up my 90s WWF btb.
EDIT: Follow me on Twitter by the way! @ball_pearer
Let me know you’re there from PWF!

Big Evil's comeback is the kinda good news antidote to all the Corona bad news. The man, the myth, the legend returns!!! I feel like Daniel Bryan popularized a chant for such occasions?

Yes, but I don't remember what it is. Also, I don't mean to totally no-sell your return brotha. Except I hate your new, clunky username. But your FFCW was/is another of one my daily read favorite features of fan fic. Your FFCW, anything Big Evil writes, @bakerman's revisionist history, shinobimusashi's UFC, KJ's LSW, and @ness's LIFE. Probably blanking on some other Top 10 All-Time Faves, but oh well.

I get that it's clunkier than a two letter acronym, but now that I'm "in the business" I'm obsessed with branding and everything being the same, so I want to have the same username for everything. A fan made these for me and gave them to me at the last pre-Corona show. They're pretty sweet.

But seriously, even @smartalex would've been better branding brotha! 1RealSmartAlex feels like a post-WWE Enzo Amore inspired tag. -_-

Funny thing was, I NEVER wanted to use my real name in wrestling. However, I started out doing reviews of shows on a now defunct website, and I felt stupid using a gimmicky pen name because nobody else on the site did. I ended up being known for my writing and podcasting first and by the time I transitioned to commentary and eventually ring announcing (well, both), I had already established my identity, and I couldn't go back. I probably would've used Marcus Smart (I now know that is a basketball player who has Covid-19, but I didn't at the time.)
