This is why the crowd hates your guy WWE.
EDIT: Well that was interesting.

They've had the indian tour, he's been given 2 titles. When will this Jinder experiment come to an end?

Someone had the bright idea that as Jinder is one of the few guys who actually gets booed that putting him against Reigns might get Roman cheered, when of course all it's going to do is get Jinder cheered.

I’d like to see the RAW MITB holder try to cash in, and get frustrated that Brock is only there 10% of the time.

Good main event, the tease of having Reigns go over made Balor's eventual win all that more meaningful in the long-run.
I'd be surprised if Mahal-Reigns was saved for the PPV. They'll get it out of the way next week and that's how they'll get Balor & Reigns in the MitB match. At least that's what I hope happens because these 'get Roman over' matches are having the opposite effect.

I've said it a few times now but the most frustrating thing is that they're actually booking Orton the way they should book Roman. They know what to do, they just refuse to for some reason.

What do you mean exactly, Call? Do you mean making Reigns the gate-keeping guy? Or just a bad-ass babyface who isn't afraid to lay out his partner at any given opportunity?

I pretty much mean the bad-ass babyface thing.
There have been these moments where he's actually really over. The one that readily springs to mind is the beatdown and aftermath of that beatdown that he gave HHH at TLC a couple of years back.
Slide him out of the main event scene, let him tear shit up in the mid-card for a while, stop the promos about Lesnar being Vinces boy and all that sort of stuff, I think that would go a long way to repairing the large amounts of damage booking has done to him. If you just let him wrestle and be an unpredictable presence, I think that'd be perfect for him.

I really don't get it. Roman was starting to get over organically after the Shield. His character was the strong silent type and it worked, but then the powers that be got their hands in there and turned him into someone the fans did not want to get behind. What's worse is everytime he breaks away from that it works for him but the damage has been done.

His current persona isn't doing him any favours. Having him go out there and call himself the 'uncrowned champion' and make references to booking makes him look like a whinger.
I just find it amazing that the WWE have somehow turned the coolest guy in the company into the lamest wrestler imaginable.

Yeah, Roman comes across as a whiny complainer and it makes him even more intolerable than before.

I disagree; I think (like when Roman got cheered over... was it Batista at Royal Rumble?) it's less pro- this particular guy than it is anti-WWE handpicked choice. Roman suffered from what I assume will be the same issues with Jinder; while Jinder has a great look and a decent but minimal character, his promos could use a bit of work and (especially) when it's time for the match -- no matter how jacked he is and no matter how much more interesting I might think a title reign would be over Randy Orton, when it's time to put on your blowoff-to-six-month-feud battle for the ages he's still Jinder Mahal in the ring. Similarly, I don't think Roman was getting terribly over immediately post-Shield. Despite how self-hating we are as smarks and proclaim we Just Don't Understand casual fans, I think there is a certain bar of in-ring talent they expect to see and while Reigns has gotten worlds better since the split, in the initial stages no he wasn't ready to be put at the level he was put at.
