Dolph actually has probably the most interesting/intelligently written thing in the company right now...

I feel like Balor has been neutered as a character. Right now his gimmick is cool guy that smiles. *guy who really likes his jacket

Sounds like London hates Lashley just as much as they hate Roman.

They really know how to drag out a segment. I would have cut out the entire Roman Reigns entrance, promo and just started with Roman beating the piss out of Jinder and Kurt banning Roman from the show.
They're onto a winner with this Rollins run. Again I'm not the biggest fan of how Rollins lays out his matches (the falcon arrow on the apron being nothing more than a count-out tease? really?) but he's working that break neck style that fans like and you're giving the fans something to look forward to on every show.
No complaints with Bobby Roode qualifying for Money in the Bank. Unlike Corbin he's a fresh face and he's a better fit than Jose who is that opening card act. I just hope they give Roode some motivation and direction because right now he's just the former NXT Champion with the over the top entrance theme.
I like both Dallas & Axel, but I feel like I've seen this song and dance over and over again and it just messes things up. The comically bad geek team that gets over with the fans who either hurt their competition or receive the belts and lose all their appeal. It's one of my least favourite tropes in WWE booking.
The women's tag was perfectly acceptable. On one hand, I'd prefer it if the established team won more often than not. It doesn't make a lot of sense to me for a group to exist if they just lose all the time, but I don't think the WWE pays that much attention. For them, it's just an easy way to book a six-woman tag match and give the show some variety which makes sense. I thought it was a good performance, some stiff shots particularly from Sarah Logan and I don't mind Nattie getting pushed since they're clearly going down the Nattie vs Ronda route down the line.
I was surprised by how good the Hardy/Wyatt vs. Revival match was. Hardy/Wyatt still need to work on their spots together, but the match was laid out nicely and I cracked up at the standing applause segment of the match. Good stuff and I hope Vince was paying attention to the Revival and saw how good they made the champs look.
I'm dreading the Sami Zayn segment next week. Nothing good could possibly come from having a bunch of non Pro Wrestlers involved and making Bobby into a family man would have been the very last route I would have taken. With that said, I'm really surprised by Zayn's heel promos. They come off really natural and his awkward gestures lend themselves into his obnoxious presentation.
I'm not sure if I understand the decision behind having Alexa qualify in a triple threat match featuring Mickie James. Wouldn't it have made more sense to have Alexa go over Sasha & Bayley, finally having all that come to a head that they let their common enemy defeat them? My only guess is that they wanted to stick to the triple threat theme of the night and protect Bayley, which didn't really matter in the end because the fans are so used to her losing all the time.
I thought the WWE could have done a better job of booking that McIntyre & Ziggler vs. Balor & Strowman tag match. I don't think Balor or Strowman losing a match should be treated like an after thought and they should really have milked it for what it's worth. I hope next week more is made of it and they go somewhere with this push.
The actual main event was lackluster. The right guy went over and they planted some seeds in the Lashley vs. Zayn feud, but the triple threat stipulation was just a desperate attempt to get Lashley over as a babyface.
Oh and that Nia Jax vs. Ronda Rousey segment was brutal. That maybe the worst set-up I've seen to a money match, ever.

This Raw was missable. K.O. paranoia continues into it's 2nd year (although I am a huge fan of his in-ring work). B-Team is Rhyno/Heath Slater 2.0. Ronda Rousey is already getting a Raw Women's Championship match despite only having one match. She'll win and be the female Brock Lesnar who'll only show up every 2 months and defend the title. Natalya will be fed to her. Roman will never turn heel. And Seth and Roman are spinning their wheels until Dean returns to reform the Shield. And where the hell is Jason Jordan? There is nothing exciting about Raw anymore except for Rollins, Finn, and Strowman.

There is nothing exciting about Raw anymore except for Rollins, Finn, and Strowman. Seth is spinning his wheels? To me he's moved on and doesn't need The Shield, he's probably the best booked babyface in the company right now. Even better than Strowman. Roman on the other hand is spinning his wheels and is one of the worst booked top babyfaces of all time, maybe the worst. Roman comes off as 100% unlikeable right now and a bit of a whiner. It would be great if they took a page from Bret Harts 1997 and have him do a slow heel turn. Roman just isn't working as a babyface, part of it is Roman and part is his booking but in any event he's been so devalued at this point that you have to turn the guy heel. Throwing him in a feud with Jinder is a horrible idea. If you want to keep him face you could at least put him against a great worker so he could build up some ring work cred like Cena was able to do but Roman is nowhere near the talent Cena is in the ring. Then again Joe is a great worker and that match was awful but I blame it on the structure of the match. Your throwing at rest holds at 3 hours and 10 minutes into a show, fuck you. Every turn they take with Roman is the wrong one, it's unreal. The real shame of it is that Strowman has to play second fiddle to this guy who nobody wants in this position.

I don't get the purpose of the Bobby Lashley storyline at all.

Gotta give Bobby something to do and whats more likeable than a smiling white meat babyface who has an awkward relationship with his sisters? Nothing! Just sit back and enjoy this beautiful train wreck because this segment next week with Bobby's sisters...I get the feeling we could have our next "Bailey, this is your life! " level of bad tv.
