I really like Shootists card a lot , I feel as if he knew exactly where he was going all along and the result is a very promising card full of matches I would love to watch his boys go at it in their prime. Not to say Raven* didn't have a plan , but I just recognize less of his wrestlers. I think Cody Rhodes vs Scott Hall is the biggest standout match for me. The main event is really great as well but the more I go down the card the less intrigued I am and that's more personal taste than anything Raven did. Good work gentlemen but I vote: Shootist

I loved Raven's roster but the card didn't really do much for me, whereas Shootist really had an amazing card. Flair/Lawler would get my vote over nearly anything.

Some interesting ideas on Raven's card, for sure... but Shootist just straight-up killed it. I want to see pretty much every match on his card, whereas (despite being one of the earlier Shibata marks on PW - thanks, Holz!) I only really want to see Eddie/'Taker on Raven's card.

There's little difference between the cards from a pure enjoyment view. Both shows would be really good. I might give a slight nod to Raven's card because it's more my era of wrestling, but he only has one standout match (Shibata vs Rey). The cards being so close, I'll decide my vote on other factors. Shootist's card feels much more cohesive, everything makes sense, and the backstories add a nice touch that Raven's card lacks. Close call, but Raven gets my vote.

Going into this first round Raven was one of the guys I was hoping to avoid, he's got probably my favorite draft in this thing overall. Undertaker, Eddie, Rey, also loved the Butcher and Calihan picks.
My only issues with Shootist's entry is using characters he didn't draft in his writeup, Heenan, Cornette, Jim Ross as the manager, I was told I couldn't even have Gary F'N Busey sitting in the crowd as a spectator and Shootist gets to use all these managers he didn't draft in prominent roles. LIFE'S NOT FAIR!
But Shootist steals my vote here, even though I like Raven's roster just a smidge more, Shootist knocked it out of the park with his entry/card, nice easy to read writeup that gives some good context for his matches, all of it works so well. Very nicely done.

This is the one I am having a difficult time who I will voted for both cards looks awesome. Let's look at Raven's card first. Exception of Matt Riddle because I didn't get the chance to watch enough of Matt Riddle yet but have potential to be great to solid. Let's look match by match for his card. El Texano Jr vs Finley can be a good, or solid opener if done right with their styles Johnny Gargano vs Will Ospreavy have potential to be a fun, and full of action pak type of match up The Monster Balls tag team match will be bloody, a brawl, and won't be a wrestling match it will a a great hardcore match up potentially wise. Not going to comment Matt Riddle vs John Morrison since I don't have the chance to watch enough of Matt Riddle's match to give my opinion. Scott Hall vs Cody Rhodes Ladder match is one of those type of 80s/90s old school type of match despite this match is a ladder match which could be very good one. Rhodes/Hall does have some sort of history well technically Scott Hall and Dusty Rhodes, and Goldust Dante Castle vs SC have potential to be a good feud, and a good match a under the rader some sort if that make sense okay whatever I think it will be good. I think the two different styles between Shibata vs Rey Mysterio will mesh very well, and given enough time I think the two will have potential to steal the show, or close it tie with the main event Which brings me The main event between Undertaker vs Eddie Guerrero holy shit that match will be awesome, badass, great did I mention badass? Now, let's look at shootist card match by match The Light heavyweight championship will be a good opening bout if it open for the show a fun opening match. Greg Valentine vs Tito Santana two I think are very underrated in the ring, and the two have feud in the past back in the 80s for the IC title both put up a solid match back then, and no doubt in mind they could put up a solid match here wouldn't mind see the two wrestle of course in their primes :suspic: The non-Sanctioned Texas Death Match will not a good wrestling match it will be a very good brawl, it will be a fight. Barry Windom vs Kerry Von Erich both who I think are good in-ring workers and I am fan of their work. I think both will be a good match this have a 80s feud type of that make any sense which isn't a bad thing. Dory Funk Jr vs Nick Bockwinkel I don't see a whole lot of those two as match which I should have even though I did watch Nick Bockwinkel vs Hulk Hogan if I remember correctly back in I think the AWA days I might be wrong, and it was good. To be fair I am not going to comment much since I haven't see much of the two yet watching one, or two matches isn't enough to make an opinion. The tag team title matches I didn't see much of the Blond Bombers I did see a whole lot of Midnight Express matches especially in my life-time which I am a fan of the tag team especially Bobby Eaton. But I am not going to comment much since I didn't see much of the Blond Bombers much. Curt Henning vs Kurt Angle have potential to be a MOTY candidate, and it will be a great, great great match especially before the two in their primes, and didn't have serious injuries, or nagging injuries. The main event Jerry Lawler back in his days is awesome as a heel, and Lawler/Flair have potential to be a feud of the year if done right. Fans booing at Lawler, fans rooting behind Ric Flair have potential to be a classic feud, and a classic match a old school type of feel match. Damn I don't know to vote for. As a fan as the polls say if the two card are the same night but obvious I can only choose one to go I will struggle big time which two cards I want to go if I have a twin can I vote both? No, I don't have a twin. Don't make me choose

I'm going to pull a KJ and slip in some hidden "PI sucks dicks for crack" messages deep within the bowels of my next round writeup novel.

I love Raven 's main event of Taker/Eddie but Shootist has a card much more up my alley. Flair/Lawler, Curt/Kurt, Claw vs. Claw...just take my $$$ already.

Shootist in a landslide.
I do agree on the "he may have used his best card" already so I'm interested on who he steals and what he does next.

ATTENTION! I didn't realize you can "unvote" in these polls. That's so fucking dumb. Make sure to post who you are actually voting for, ideally by tagging them. I will tally votes and determine winners this way (not via the polls since unvoting is SO FUCKING DUMB). Voting will remain open until the start of RAW next Monday (unless we all agree to shorter voting windows... just don't want to short-change anyone with the Thanksgiving holidays). The poll says 13 votes, 9 for Shootist to 4 for Raven. The posted votes tally differently, totalling 10 overall, with 8 for Shootist and 2 for Raven. I count votes from: UT, PB, 🤯, shinobimusashi, pduh, JTJ, Baker, The Kid, Emperor, bodyslamMy best guesses for unaccounted-for poll votes and/or folks who should've posted votes are: KITN, RT, Arrogance_Personified, The Dazz, Call, SM, The Show
