upload picFor the first time since Super Smash Bros x Death Watch fan fic, you have a collaboration by NesSystem! I know I said it was the last discography thread but unlike fan fiction or reviewing the indie nonsense Anthony Fantano listens to we are here to keep on rollin’ with the reviews people want because if you don’t care, then we don’t care! It will work in a tag style fashion with one poster starting on one album with the other poster’s thoughts pasted in. Then the second person doing the next album and so forth. No need to break stuff to dust off all your Bizkit CD’s quickly as this won’t be at the fast pace the other albums threads have been so join us and listen along with Ness and I.

THREE DOLLAR BILL, Y’ALL(1997) (0:00) intro (0:48) POLLUTION (4:41) COUNTERFEIT (9:49) STUCK (15:13) NOBODY LOVES ME (19:41) SOUR (23:14) STALEMATE (29:29) CLUNK (33:32) FAITH (35:59) STINKFINGER (39:03) INDIGO FLOW (41:25) LEECH (43:40) EVERYTHING NESS Ness It would seem like a lot of numetal bands they got less and less "hard" with each release as they achieve success and chase more radio friendly vibes. I got into Bizkit because of Faith, which I'm sure is common and in a lot of ways it's like hearing them all for the first time since I really only ever focused on Pollution Faith and Indigo Flow. Really it wasn't until their next release that I was really becoming a fan outside of that poser vibe I had going in middle school. Pollution still holds it's own an aggressive track sliding you into the CD and the silliness of Fred going crazy was definitley something teenage me loved. Counterfeit seems to be the big track that everyone loves but me. And upon relisten it still doesn't do anything for me. Next few tracks all kinda blend together and sound samey and are all a step down from Pollution. Sour turns things around a bit. Has a different feelt to it than the domino effect that was the whole album after my OG favorite and then we hit FAITH!!!! Dude it's GOAT and I love how George Michaels hates it and wish it didn't exist. That makes it even better. GET THE FUCK UP! Indigo Flow I love since it's just a never ending shout out, but it works and I dig it so much. If you're looking for raw and angry as is the numetal style, this album is for you. For me despite being a big Bizkit fan I'm not a huge fan of this album, but Pollution is a contender. SYSTEM My biggest memory of this album is my ultra religious friend in school refusing to listen to the rest of it because of the intro (references to Jesus). Is Korn too intellectual and melodic for you? Give this album a listen instead! There is actually some decent lyrics here but every now and then you are treated to gold like this: “ All I wanted was a Pepsi, just one Pepsi Far from suicidal still I get them tendencies” With this being a very juvenile album. What you do get is over an hour of very abrasive & angry sound that honestly works for the first half but it wears it’s welcome as there’s not a huge amount of variety in this and when there is…it doesn’t deliver like with “Everything” the 16+ minute track I couldn’t wait it to end. Pollution and counterfeit being my two favourite tracks, possibly because they introduce the raw aggression the album is going over that you’re not tired of yet. Considering the demographic it was aimed at, I’m sure it was more appealing to a 90s kid that had his skateboard broken and run out of Mountain Dew but there’s no huge appeal revisiting this as an adult outside of nostalgia. Favourite Tracks: Pollution, Counterfeit Least Favourite: Everything System rating 5/10

SYSTEM The Bizkit are back with an album that seems like easy listening compared to their debut Three Dollar Bill, Y’all[. Not to say it’s a soft album as it’s still has its heavy moments like with the fan favourite “Break stuff” but I think the band realised an hour worth of just angry noise isn’t for most people and there’s a lot more variety here. Case in point “N 2 Gether now” that has a method man feature and is much more Wu-Tang than Limp Bizkit. I’ll give Limp Bizkit credit that right from the start they knew they were perceived poorly by music critics and people with more “refined” taste but they definitely add fuel to the fire of Limp Bizkit being some hard R music like with the track “show me what you got” with such cringey lines as “ Met a child molester in Worchester I need a Kleenex everytime I'm leavin' Phoenix” Could Durst not think of a better line than that? The disses on backstreet boys, the radio and not pissing on other people’s CDs really dates this album..not that you could listen or even look at the cover and not think it’s a nu-metal era album. Still there’s some good stuff here with the aforementioned Break Stuff, N Together Now, Nobody like you (featuring Jonathan Davis from Korn) and of course “The Nookie”. Definitely a mixed bag album, some stand out tracks I’d have on repeat and some utter garbage I don’t want to listen to ever again. Favourite Tracks: N 2 Gether Now, Nobody Like you Least favourite: Show me what you got, no sex System Rating 5/10NESS
Is it just me or does the album cover art always feel like some weird visual illusion with how the guy's leg is facing you? Always seems like the show is just in a weird position. Going into this I remember especially loving the three main tracks and unlike their debut album it looks like they give you these right from the get go. So it's either gonna be a wild ride or it peaks early.
Nookie is probably the song most people think of when they think of the cringe factor of the band. As a teenager it was teehee enough because nookie... they're talking about SEX brah. Now I get a new meaning behind the lyrics after experiencing it myself. isn't that why we put up with all the pain... for the nookie? "The only one under the sun who didn't get it" - we're always the last ones to get it... even after friends and family warned it. Like the cop in the video we just weren't having it!
Break Stuff seemed to be the only LB song they ever played on my local rock stations. This is especially jarring because one station has a morning show that are HUGE wrestling fans. You'd think at the very least they'd be playing My Way on the regular. Had a friend at the time of release who always loved quoting the song "say it right to my face you'll get knocked the f out!" along with the >< south park face. He physically could not do it without the gesture.
Rearranged was always my favorite and I doubt a relisten will change that.
The rest of the album is more or less gonna feel like a first time listen...
Some forgettable tracks but 1999 has some Ken Shamrock name dropping so I can't hate. I remember N Togetha Now got a lot of MTV play back in the day. Good for a token listen, but not something I'm gonna hit repeat for.
Before relistening I remember liking more of the album than I actually did. All the radio hits still slap, but much like the debut release there's not much there for me. That might change with the next one which I believe has few if any misses. I considered myself a fan to own both these CDs, but I really only listened to a few tracks perpetually. Then again we're heading into the napster era of music, so maybe that's just how middle school me ate this shit up.
Better than the last outing, but still a tight race. I refer to all magnum opus outings as their "black album" regardless of actual artwork used. Of course it happens to use black background which is what all wrestling shirts at the time did.

Ness is going to hate me for this, but that last post reminded me I was a Bizkit hater before it was cool. I got better! Couldn't stand Nookie though. It was so overplayed. Plus my cousin tried playing it every time he came over and I'd be like "Nope. Turn that stupid Bizkit crap off. Limp Bizkit....what kind of name is that anyway? smh" Their next album....that's The One.

Man there was this small little window in my world when Limp Bizkit was actually really really cool. They were one of those new generation of bands that cropped up out of nowhere in like 1997, Limp Bizkit, Sevendust, Coal Chamber, and even though Deftones had been around a couple years I'd lump them in there, as well as Soulfly(which didn't come out until 98). You could say Korn was in that group but by 97 they were already huge, where as those bands had just came out brand new and were on the edge of some evolution you could feel. I was pretty in love with that crop of bands right there, plus Limp Bizkit got the Korn rub with Family Values 98. One of my friends had that live album for FV 98 in 1999 and we listened to it a lot and loved every song on it.
Their 1999 album was where they lost me when they became TRL baby stuff, but I still liked a few songs off that album. The whole woodstock story with them is glorious and that video of them playing Break Stuff is pretty amazing and powerful. I've grown to love that more over time.
By 2000 they were my least favorite metal band ever. I had an uncle that got me their first album for my birthday and I had to pretend I was stoked about it, after I got home I felt like Ace Ventura after making out with the tranny from Bladerunner just totally disgusted with myself. But I didn't have a lot of CD's so I did listen to it and it had some of the songs from that Family Values 98 live album so I actually grew to really like it. I dig that 1997 era Limp Bizkit when they were cool and edgy and playing on a toilet at Ozzfest. After that nah

Significant Other takes the top prize. It's peak Limp Bizkit. I was a massive fan of Limp at the time this came out. And just like the attitude era in 1999, I was bang on the right age to absolutely love this stuff.
And even then despite being a massive fan, I thought $3 Dollar Bill was shit. Just rough around the edges. It's rubbish. Similarly, I tried to listen to Incubus' breakthrough, S.C.I.E.N.C.E. after 20+ years, and fuck I'm glad they changed up their style when they did, or they would be another trash band on the rotting landfill that is Nu Metal. I say that after being a Nu Metal fan.
Chocolate Starfish was the biggest wank-fest of an album title since the 1980s hair metal days. Sure, there's some banging songs of there - I would suggest 'My Way' and 'Take a look around' and the only 2 tracks to survive 22 years and not sound like a perpetual child wrote the lyrics. This was peak Fred Durst: the ego has landed. He's talking about directing movies and acting and thinks he's Hollywood at this point.
Results May Vary, is underrated. 90% of people who bought into Significant Other are completely off the Limp Bizkit train at this point. Nu Metal is as good as dead at this point. But there is some OK songs. 'Eat You Alive' is a good song, and I've always had a soft spot for 'Phenomenon' and the album is probably one of the more mature.. no, less immature entries from Durst.
Next I heard of Limp Bizkit, it was 'Gold Cobra' and yeah, it's an OK. But more recently, I do like 'Ready To Go' with Lil Wayne.
All in all, the important takeaway is when Fred applies himself he can write a good hook. It's just that 75% of the time, he's not really applying himself.

As much as I dislike Limp Bizkit, I have to credit them for one thing. They are capable of getting so much out of so little in a way I've not seen from many other artists.
Take Break Stuff for example. Starts with a two-note riff. DUHHHHH-DUH! DUHHHHH-DUH! The chorus riff is the same note played two times with a bit of a whammy bar effect. DUHHHHH-DUUUhUHuhuhU! DUHHHHH-DUUUhUHuhuhU! Then there's the explosive bit of the song. Two note riff. DUH-DUHHHH DUH-DUH DUH-DUHHHH. The economy of notes is fantastic, and that last riff has the same effect on the audience as your favourite hyper-fast thrash metal riff. The main riff in Take A Look Around is a little more sophisticated. Might even be three notes.
It sounds like I'm mocking them, backhanded compliments, sarcasm, but I am genuinely impressed by the economy of their writing, especially those Break Stuff riffs. As simple as they are, they are very effective. And it's not like that's all they do. Songs like My Way have more nuance to them. And they really know how to build up to that big moment, the big chorus or the big hook. Not the greatest musicians, but great songwriters for the style of music they play. I need to stop, I'm going to start talking myself into liking them

I want to not no-sell this epic thread idea by Ness & System, but... for some reason my anxiety issues have had me mostly avoiding pop culture lately?! Dafuq?! Anyway... Don't take it as a personal slight, gents; rest assured I'll return and like at some point in the future when getting caught up. Until then, I'll be blasting Break Stuff on infinite repeat.

Chocolate Starfish and the Hotdog Flavored Water (2000) 1. "Intro" 1:18 2. "Hot Dog" 3:51 3. "My Generation" 3:43 4. "Full Nelson" 4:08 5. "My Way" 4:32 6. "Rollin' (Air Raid Vehicle)" 3:34 7. "Livin' It Up" 4:24 8. "The One 5:44 9. "Getcha Groove On" 4:19 10. "Take a Look Around" 5:22 11. "It'll Be OK" 5:07 12. "Boiler" 7:00 13. "Hold On" 5:48 14. "Rollin' (Urban Assault Vehicle)" 6:22 15. "Outro" 9:50 NESS I don't care who you are... if you were watching wrestling at the time you were exposed to this album. Not gonna call it the GOAT or anything, but if you were to suggest it's a contender it probably wouldn't take much convincing to get me on board. Their big toes always looked funky to me. Something about the art always drives me crazy. Never been fan of the intro tracks and I'm still not, but the one here was okay. Just not over with me tbh. Hot Dog starts and I'm READY. Yep, I remember the goods. Forget Taytay this is where it's at. To this day I still haven't done the "fuck test" if you know you know. Brings me back to my peak in popularity in the neighborhood for loving Bizkit and being a backyarder. Man how did I peak so long ago brah? Don't even need lyrics to karoke this. HIT! ~If only we could fly~ Sad to think nothing has really changed for the forgotten generation. Still the song SLAPS as the kids say. We won't ever give a fuck... HIT! Full Nelson I just love the way it starts. Actually I take back what I said about Break Stuff, the >< lyric is from this song. I think it was this CD that me, my brother and his friend (who I guess was also mine) bonded over along with SSB. It was very angsty and angry... as I hung out with middle school kids lmao. If that's your social scene you better be angry! SAY IT RIGHT TO MY FACE. KNOCKED THE FUCK OUT >.< Burn this motherfucker DOWNNNNNNNNNNNNNN. Bring it on Lethal... another HIT! Obviously every wrestling fan loves My Way. Just the perfect song that pretty much saved a mediocre awful build to one of those GOAT feuds. How did they fuck it up? Thanks for the hot tag guys. Seriously in the "we don't play anything past 2012" that is radio... why is this not played more? I mean it's way less cringe in 2022 than Break Stuff or Nookie... do I need to say it? HIT! Rollin' - again people probably don't like it because of it being Taker's theme and the overuse that comes with being associated with a top guy, but it still rules. Yeah the steering wheel gif is death penalty worthy, but just listen to the song in the back. You know every word. Don't even cap. I always liked "fuck this track up" because I'm not sure if that means beat it up or they're not confident? No way, not this song. 247 never beggin for a raincheck. MOSH PIT HIT! Living It Up - I can't tell you why, but I loved the Ben Stiller inclusion here. He seemed like he was getting that #PUSH, but alas. He said starfish. He said the thing! Ms. Aguilera come and get some. CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHO IS SLEEPING WITH WHO? I don't even smoke but I love the way it smells. That line always got me. Wouldn't become a pothead for another 20 years though. Sad. HIT! Can they miss at this point? This album boyee. Next track is one I'm not super familiar with... first time listen? Less fun and more "lighter" than everything up to this point. Kinda let the song linger as background noise and as it got going... not bad. Feels like it might transition well into the rest of the tracks. I can't call it a HIT though, but also not a miss. Call it a draw. Take A Look Around is a song I don't think I gave much play until very recently. I didn't venture to the bottom half much. It started popping up via youtube when LB were having their comeback. It really shot itself up in my rankings. Not sure why it alluded me as a kid. Feels like it fits in with the other ones I love. Also lowkey love the way he says "everything happens for a REEEEEEEEEASUUUUN". Obviously HIT. Boiler has grown on me over the years. Used to skip over the later part of the CD back in the day. Or I only ever actively had mp3s for the above songs. Autoplay like with Look Around helped sell it to me later in life. The other songs weren't totally over with me, but some relistens I think a few have a shot. Still the previous Bizkit releases I really only liked a handful of songs whereas here it's the complete opposite. In my own maturity I recreational would listen to the outro. I thought it was the funniest thing ever in 2001 or whenever it was. Relisten it DEF needed to be cut. Basically once he stopped actually saying anything and did the goofy laugh. Fun fact: a dude at work does the same laugh. I can't be partial here I loved this album so much. Hope to listen to some of these songs again one day. Like deserted island? Thus album would be a CONTENDER to what I actually bring. The first two albums it was a case of just liking some of their songs. This one though? I ate it up. I give wrestling credit because it gave it the PUSH. Once this album was out I would call myself a LB fan... until like a year or two later when doing so would have severe consquences. I liked it then and I still like it now in spite of the cringe. Nostalgia is a big factor obviously because if I didn't experience it when I was younger... I doubt it would hit like it has. I guess that's where I'm at. I'm not actively listening to LB or even seeking them out, but if it finds me... why wouldn't I just linger and take it in mannnn? It's in my personal 10/10. Not many albums are ass planters start to finish, but this is one of them. Like if you are surprised about anything I've typed up for this release... then you don't really know me because this feels like right in the wheelhouse. GENE PICKS Three Dollar: Pollution, Faith, Indigo Flow SO: Nookie, Break Stuff, Rearranged, 1999, N2Gether Hotdog: 85% is worthy so not typing it up Remember when they came back for WM19 and WWE was like "WWE's favorite band" - I thought they were trolling me tbh. Lotta bands have that album that is a backdoor greatest hits compilation. This was that. Are there better albums out there? After my relisten... I don't think there's many. Dude it was just peak time period. Teenage angst, Austin comes back but he's NOT PLAYING AROUND YO, 9/11... yeah it tickled me at the right time and I still love it. Music really hasn't touched me in that way pretty much ever since. SYSTEM Despite this album always featuring on top 10 worst album cover and album title lists, there’s no denying the musical content is peak Bizkit. This is the first time I’ve listened to this entire album but there’s so many instantly recognisable hits, the most obvious being “Rollin (Air Raid Vehicle) which was constantly on the Australian show video hits, the radio and known to most of us as one of Taker’s theme songs. First time hearing the urban assault vehicle version and it was cool despite being nowhere near as good as the above. This combined with My Generation, My Way,Take a Look Around and Hold On make this album worth the price of admission alone. I know to most of us PW we know how much a part of the cultural zeitgeist Bizkit was at time but crazy to think now they are almost relegated to meme status like Smash Mouth of Rick Astley. I vaguely remember Trent Reznor saying something negative about Limp Bizkit so I assume that’s what the diss is about and despite NIN wiping the floor with Bizkit musically in every manner it pains me to admit the average person on the street could name way more Bizkit songs than NIN and that’s mostly due to the hits on this album. There’s no real duds on this album but there’s a handful of forgettable tracks but this was the era where people felt ripped off by short track list/albums so I can see why they did it. This album also continues the trend of annoying outros on every Bizkit album, listening to Ben Stiller laugh for ages isn’t worth finding the “hidden track”. If Limp Bizkit isn’t for you than this album isn’t going to sell you on their sound as they didn’t drastically changed sounds just more so refined their sound without abandoning their juvenile and at times bombastic music. But if it is it’s seems the general consensus is that this is their magnum opus and I can understand why. Favourite Tracks: Rollin (Air Raid Vehicle),My Way, Take a Look Around, Hold On Least Favourite: The One, Outro SYSTEM RATING 8/10

Take A Look Around is another one of those great Limp Bizkit songs. Short but effective riff, amazing buildup, intense breakdown. Rollin' is also good but to a lesser extent.
For some reason I recognise the song title Boiler but I just played it and it didn't sound familiar. T'was also very very dull.

"Behind Blue Eyes" (The Who cover) Townshend 6:05 16. "Drown" SYSTEM Did Durst go through a break up or something during this recording? For the most part all the jokes and juvenile behaviours are gone and this is a much more sorrowful and introspective album than anything so far. Much more Korn than Primus. This album found me at the right time as it matched the mood as I was in but I thought barring one or two tracks it was fantastic. Almost Over, Lonely World and Build a Bridge are all great. I’m sure Ness has probably already mentioned in his right up but it was a great choice for Survivor Series 2003 which was the first PPV I watched air live when we got Austar. Durst is no T.S. Eliot but he has such a great way of invoking an emotion with simple lyrics even if just usually rage. “It's like love, some people get it For some it's just a glove that just never fitted For me it's just a pain in the ass But I'm addicted to the taste of hoping it could last” This may sound stupid reading it but listening to in the context of the song works really well. Behind Blue Eyes was constantly on the music channel (by this time I didn’t just watch the music video show, there was a whole channel!) and I’d argue that like Johnny Cash being synonymous with Hurt, Behind Blue Eyes is much better known as a Limp Bizkit track than from Who ever wrote it. If you want the fun Rollin’/Break Stuff Limp Bizkit to mosh to you than this isn’t it, but if you like sadder more mellow style of new metal (like say the album Untouchables by Korn) then this should be right up your alley. Favourite Tracks: Build a Bridge, Almost Over, Lonely World, Underneath the Gun Least Favourite: Red Light-Green Light SYSTEM RATING 9/10NESS
Full disclosure I've never really paid much attention to the Bizkit after Hotdog. By time this album came out I was pretty much over it. I wasn't over numetal and that scene, but the boys just weren't on my radar anymore. Two songs did reach me and I assume it was either frequent radio play or they had to have been associated with a WWE PPV or something. So I know Build a Bridge and Behind Blue Eyes. Other than that it's gonna be like hearing it for the first time. I know it's a mixed bag and seemed more emotional, so here goes the second half that mostly got ignored. Just gonna give thought on individual tracks...
Reentry: Interesting there's no Intro track, although the first song feels like an intro one. Probably the best one they've done if we count it as such. Eat You Alive: Pretty decent song and understand why it was the released single. Gimme the Mic: Didn't like it. Underneath the Gun: Better but still meh. Down Another Day: Still not really feeling it. First time listen through but nothing is really grabbing me yet despite quite enjoying the 2 big ones I knew of. Almost Over: Best song of the album up to this point. Not one I'll revisit when going over the discography but it's a contender on the small scale. Build A Bridge: This song still SLAPS. When Bizkit is on they are just amazing at creating perfect music video/montage tracks. RLGL: Don't hate it. Only One: Servicable but don't think I liked it too much. Let Me Down: Rumors are tumors... lol. Just not feeling a lot of this. Lonely World: Same Phen: The most overlooked of AJ's themes. Creamer: Radio IS dead and I acknowledge I'm the only one. Barricade: Pretty catchy honestly. Blue Eyes: Already liked it, but I can understand if people hated it. Drown: Very fitting closing as it fits what I assume Fred was trying to get across.
Perhaps Hotdog was lightning in a bottle for me because this feels like a return to form even if it doesn't "feel" like Bizkit. By that I mean I like a handful of songs, but most of it just doesn't hit with me. I still adore Bridge and Blue Eyes and if I were making the setlist for their comeback tour these would be part of the encore section. I don't think they made the cut, but ya know audience of one and all. Results were varied and was probably necessary because you can't rely on the old hits forever, but it's also a risk because that's what we want lest you become Bennington yelling at fans for not getting your new shit. It's nothing I'd go out of my way for, but I think it could make for some decent background noise. Like smooth jazz for the melancholy.

Gonna continue the track by track review since I don't have nostalgia to fall back on. Intro: Sometimes I feel like the intro/outro gimmicks aren't for me as I only ever liked one and that was mostly Stiller. Bring It Back: Hearing him say what in the background makes it feel like home. Not gonna reach my top 30 or anything but not bad. Gold Cobra: I always mark out when they say the "thing", very much like the Family Guy clip. Liked the chorus. Shark Attack: If this was early 2000's IWC I would rate it thumbs in the middle like I was a hack on 411mania. Get a Life: Between the past 2 albums this one feels like I usually would expect. It's a hit in that way. Shotgun: Not bad at all. Seems to be the only single released? Douche Bag: Wanted to make a joke it was gonna be a song about Tate and oddly enough it's probably been my favorite. Just sounds great. Walking Away: Started out slow, but had a nice emo scream towards the end. Loser: Feels like it would fit on RMV. I like the sound but not feeling the actual lyrics. Yeah that ending kinda ruined it. I dunno if it's meant to be part of the next song or not... Autotune: Not a fan of it, which I guess the ending of Loser clued me in on. Got better towards the end though. 90210: "Girls look so good" They do brother, but they all have restraining orders against me. Why Try: Man this album is speaking to me... get a life, douche bag, loser and this. Decent song can't lie. Killer In You: Good song to end it with. Okay I can say I enjoyed Cobra more than Results going by the "first time listens" and how many I liked here versus then. I'm not the best person to be reviewing music sight unseen because I feel like that's just not the proper way to listen. Lotta songs I heard on the radio I didn't care for, but they slowly wormed their way in with repeat listens. No doubt that's what helped those early Bizkit tracks... radio and MTV play and just hearing them over and over. A single listen is really sink or swim. I don't know if these tracks weren't over with the masses or what, but I never encountered them until now. Honestly I'd put it above 3DB simply because it feels like something I could put on and let it play whereas I'm not sure I could do that with the early stuff. It's good, but it seems like their reputation for good or bad may have made it hard to take seriously. Sorta like anything the wrestling business does going forward. I don't think there's gonna be anyone new checking it out. SYSTEM For an 8 year wait between releases this album seems incredibly rushed and uninspired and it’s not like Bizkit have a stellar discography to begin with so really puzzling to see this get released in the state it was in. “Get a Life” is a really heavy track and the title track is great and “Killer in You” admittedly got some laughs from me along. If Results May Vary isn’t your thing and you wanted the old immature Bizkit back with a sense of humour and atrocious album covers (featuring what looks like demented versions of Paige) then this album should be a hit for you. For me it was quite a miss. Favourite Tracks: Gold Cobra, Killer in You, Get a Life Least Favourite: Why Try, 90.2.10 SYSTEM RATING 4/10

Considering Gold Cobra released a whole 8 years after Results May Vary when Bizkit had entirely lost pretty much all relevancy and this has released another TEN YEARS after that, Bizkit was able to come back from irrelevancy after hitting the age of being a nostalgia act.
(As I’ve said before I’ve seen so many albums get panned/mixed reactions on release then you give it 10-15 years and it’s a classic all of a sudden.)
The band’s seems aware of this and knows it’s just a fun novelty to have a new Bizkit album in the 20s, long after their heyday is over. At only 31:55 this album keeps it short and sweet, only just surpassing The Unquestionable Truth (Part 1) EP that we didn’t cover here.
It’s greatly appreciated and with the album title reading as Limp Bizkit Still Sucks along with the Dad Rock song and video it’s clear they live by the mantra “don’t kill the part of you that’s cringe, kill the part that cringes”
That’s not to say this album doesn’t have its serious moments with a brilliant cover of INXS’ “Don’t Change” and a fantastic closing track titled “Goodbye” which on the surface sounds like Durst relieved to leave a toxic relationship but also could be the swan song for the band, being the last track on potentially their last ever album. You bring out the worst in me would feel right at home on results may vary also.
This album felt like catching up with an old friend and it actually turning out well. Didn’t even listen to it when I made a thread about last year so I’m glad I hit Ness up about doing this collab as this has been in constant rotation since I listened to it.
Favourite Tracks: Goodbye, Don’t Change, you bring out the worst in me, Dirty Rotten Bizkit
Least Favourite: Snacky Poo

NESS
The trend of ugly album covers will not be denied! Despite having over 10 tracks this thing is pretty short. Granted so was Hybrid Theory, so I guess if songs are hovering past 5 minutes it just won't reach that broadway time they did a few times. Rather than do a track by track review I'm just letting it play in the background. Nothing I'm loving and nothing I'm hating either. Pill Popper I liked. The rest honestly I'm not really sure about. And that's kinda how I feel about the last three albums. Maybe repeat listens, but just initially I wasn't a huge fan of anything they did post Hotdog. There's some gems and a few catchy songs but nothing really grabbed me like when I was younger.
If I had to rate them based on everything
Hotdog - SO - Gold Cobra - Sucks - Dollar - Results
But honestly they're all vying for second place in the grand scheme of things. Know what deserves some love? Crack Addict. Not released on any album and I think they weren't happy with how it sounded at WM which really sucks because it's such a great song. An excellent sequel to My Way in terms of building up the final Rock/Austin match. And just on it's own a great song that fits everything I want out of Bizkit. Just one of those tracks that I feel should be up there with their all-time greats but it gets overlooked and basically forgotten. Thanks a lot WWE.
Listening wise I'll probably not revisit the 2nd half of their releases but I'll say Still Sucks was still a good way to end things even with the final track. As far as a favorite song I can't really say overall. One doesn't really stand out above the others. Still for the cringe factor their name gets there's at least a good 2 dozen to choose from.

Few tracks sounding better thanks to that youtube alogrithm playing in the background. Plot twist they're usually all from Results May Vary.

I bought AirPods so it gave me 6 months of Apple Music and they have most albums lossless (with Dolby atmos) all of Limp Bizkit’s catalogue for true audiophiles 😒. Seriously though thanks for going along with the thread idea was cool to see someone else’s thoughts to give me a different perspective on albums I may or may not like.

Went to catch the train to Sydney, 2 of them didn’t show up then they announced trains couldn’t get to said station so I had to hurry to the bus stop to get to next train station. Then it rained, it’s just one of those days… Ness so you don’t get bed bugs in Australia Seriously though great concert, definitely a better live act than they are a studio band, surprised they are still drawing such a crowd but I guess its been so long the cringy parts of Limp Bizkit are nostalgic now:
